We were going to Baltimore for a concert last Friday evening and decided to try Cazbar since we really like Turkish food after our visits to Turkey. What a terrific place! We both tried the okra with lamb entree and would go back again just to eat it again. he salad it came with was remarkable for a perfumed dressing and fresh ingredients. The ambience was charming, service superb, and everything we ate truly delicious.

I have been to Cazbar several times and my husband and I have both enjoyed everything we have ordered. The appetizers in particular are amazing - I have eaten falafel and hummus at many restaurants and Cazbar is one of the best. I agree with previous reviews that the mixed meze plate is one of the best items on the menu. The entrees are better at the Lebanese Taverna but they are good (and a little less expensive) at Cazbar. Also, it's a beautiful restaurant and they have free (or $5, don't remember) valet parking.

We went to Cazbar on a Friday evening. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff were very friendly and informative. We ended up trying some of the recommended appetizers and pomegranate wine. Everything was delicious. The belly dancing entertainment was a lot of fun to watch, although our only complaint would be that the music was just a tad too loud, not so loud it was intolerable, but almost. The prices were fair for the quality of the food received, and I don't remember being charged a cover for the belly dancing but we did get there a while before it started. Also, following the belly dancing, there was some sort of Latin/salsa dancing class. The people doing it seemed to be having a great time, so if this is an interest, you might want to call ahead and ask about it. There seemed to be more ladies than men there though, so guys...if you wanna meet some girls, it's time to learn to dance.

I would recommend the Mixed Meze Plate. The pita bread is delicious and the dips were so flavorful. We had trouble deciding which one we liked best. The Doner Kepap was okay but the rice that came with the meal was A-Maze-ing, oddly enough.

Visited CazBar on a double date and it was wonderful. We arrived at like 11PM at night so the kitchen was closed, so we had hookah and drinks. The drinks are mixed well and the ambiance is spectacular. W had so much fun. Lighting is perfect for a romantic evening and seats are really comfortable. I would this spot for a romantic date night or casual evening with friends. We were told there’s a DJ some nights, but it’s cool without the DJ.
