Service slow and not professional. Better accoustics needed; much too loud from the bar area. Ordered hot tea ... their selection was weird herb teas, no normal teas. Wanted to substitute steamed vegetables for French fries. Charged $2 for the substitution. Chili had little spice and the half melted cheese was stringy. I had corned beef and cabbage ... big mistake. Cabbage had been boiled for at least three days ... no taste and limp. Corned beef tough and should have been cooked longer and slower to make it tender. There was a sauce on it that was totally tasteless. Chocolate sauce instead of hot fudge for their many ice cream based desserts. I should have known there was a problem when the bar was full and the restaurant empty on a Saturday night. Salads and sandwiches looked decent.

This is a chain and the food screams frozen, processed, microwaved. The staff were not to interested in us. My husband loves Irish beer and he was happy with his pint but not his plate.

Have been to Ryan's Daughter several times. I think maybe there is new management recently? The food here is good, although the menu is much smaller now than it used to be. That said, they don't skimp on crab in the crab bisque, or on food in general. Portions are large and satisfying, and the smaller menu means better focus on the things they're good at. Sometimes it can get too loud -- the bar section is contained but noisy, and sometimes groups of college students set up camp at a table and get loud. Also, some of the chairs are very old and rickety, as part of their Atmosphere and Ambiance, and so the restaurant is not as comfortable as it should be. We'll keep going, though.

Ryan's daughter is a high-energy, youthful Irish pub located In Belvedere Sq., Baltimore. Friendly atmosphere, Good drinks prevail in this authentic Irish pub setting. We ordered the Irish stew, Bangers and mash and deep-fried oysters. The stew and bangers met all expectations. Oysters left a lot to be desired. They were very small in size and not good for dinner presentation. We recommend going at the happy hour and enjoying the locally friendly crowd. Expect average menu results. Service and Price met all expectations. We will return when in the area in the future.
