“Ok at Best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

We were hungry as you should be going to a brazilian steak house. The salad bar was the highlight. The meat on the skewer had no taste. Bland. Maybe thats how they do it for tourists. The highlight was the sirlion. Really? I think what set us off was the glass of water they called a martini. They had no problem asking me if i wanted a glass of 150 year old grand marnier. Was it free? Dont think so. We've been to places that were in the middle of nowhere, paid half the price, and had better. Overall i regret spending the money i spent. I could have had a couple of burgers, went to atlantic city and bet it on black.

“Great food, could make some improvements”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

I've been to this location a few times and the food is great, staff is pretty attentive. I'm not a salad fan so there should be an option to only pay for the meat, just as there is the option to only pay for the salad bar. Also, I've visited a few competitors of this chain and there are a lot more cultural desserts that fit in with the theme rather than the 1000+ calorie cakes. The constant repetition to the servers of wanting "well done" steak was quite annoying and also a let down when there was none. Area Code 55 (a competitor) has similar cards to Fogo de Chao's famous red and green ones, HOWEVER, they are colored to show how you'd like your meat which eliminates the repetition and waste of servers time. It helps to show them what their guests would like as well. Great food though, just a few suggestions.

“Birthday Dinners - Meat Lovers Paradise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We greatly enjoyed our trip to Fogo de Chao for dinner. It is really an interesting experience with great food. There is a huge salad bar with a variety of fruits, vegetables and salads as well as some cheeses and meats. In addition the salad bar, you have a never ending of supply of fresh, warm rolls, fried polenta, mashed potatoes and fried bananas brought right to your table. When you're ready for some meat (chicken, beef and pork) you flip your chip over to the green side and dozens of men come around with the mean on poles and with great knife skills cut off what you requested. The Rib-Eye was my absolute favorite and the best I've ever eaten, but the sirloin, and parmesan crusted pork were also near the top of my list. Definitely come here hungry! And save room for dessert! The chocolate mousse cake was delicious. Wonderful service (you are never without a fresh clean plate) and wonderful food!

“Great Service and Delicious Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

When I was looking through reviews, I kept seeing "on the pricey side" or things along those lines, but could ever really find what that meant. So, here it is: For unlimited meat (15 different kinds) and unlimited salad bar (full of fresh cheeses, vegetables, etc), the cost is ~$50 per person. Drinks and desserts are extra. We were STUFFED to the brim after dinner but still wanted to try their desserts, so we ordered two of them (out of ~7): the Key Lime Pie and a Strawberry dessert (can't recall the name). They were ok, but definitely not worth the $10 we paid for each of them and we all said we wouldn't order those desserts again. If you want a good Key Lime pie, head to Chart House! But other than the dessert disappointment (and maybe the others are great), we had a great time and enjoyed wonderful food with great service!
