I booked a room at gramercy for my husband and I. It was our 6th wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. It gave me such a cozy and intimate feel. The staff was friendly. I was in the casualty suit. The only bad thing is I didn't stay a second night I didn't want to go home. I will be going again when the weather is warm so I can take part in outside activities

Congratulations on your sixth wedding anniversary! We are so glad that you got to experience it here at Gramercy. The mansion truly provides a cozy environment with the fireplaces, especially in the winter, snow-filled months. We hope that you will stay with us again soon!

Staff was friendly. Rooms were gorgeous. Food was incredible. Perfect place to spend with someone special. Ambassador room was amazing, loved the fireplace. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Definitely would come back.

The Gramercy is a beautiful mansion with delightful gardens and paths to explore. We enjoy the large jacuzzi baths in most rooms and the privacy. You really can't go wrong - the breakfast is excellent, rooms gorgeous and friendly staff. We will continue to return for get aways and special occasions.

Room Tip: The suites are extra special.

Stayed during a quiet Superbowl weekend on a Friday and Saturday night. Very helpful, kind staff, room was large, comfortable and quiet (3rd floor). The bed very comfortable, the bath and shower: plenty of consistent hot water. The breakfast to order was perfect both days - eggs benedict, potatoes, bacon, fruit, tea, pastry: yum! Dinner delivery of chinese food from a local vendor was much better than expected too. Lovely stroll around the grounds for an hour in the snow very enjoyable. Laptop connected easily -Internet worked well the whole visit - and they had a business center in case I needed it. All linens and room clean - Yes, this is an older estate, and some minor wear and tear show from being lived in and used, charming circa 1915 home/decor, fixtures (fireplaces, windows and tile art work) - Overall experience was so positive that I would definitely stay here again.

We experienced the Mansion for the first time in early January, during an icy rain monsoon. The immediate warm of the mansion and staff as well as the amazing surprise of the antique adornments (many for sale) quickly helped us forget the weather outside. The accommodations far surpass the photographs. I wish we would have allowed ouselves more time just to enjoy the common areas and their ambience. Exploring the insde on the mansion is an evening on its own...and we can't wait to go back and enjoy the grounds in better weather. Breakfast was an elegant event...bejewleled with yet more treasures of yesterday...my husband had to remind me to stop looking and start eating! Worth every penny and then some.

We are sorry that you had to experience bad weather, but we are happy that you made the most out of your stay! The mansion provides a beautiful place to be "stuck in the house," and it seems like you took advantage of that. Thank you for the kind words, and we hope that you'll come back and visit us again. Hopefully we'll have some nicer weather!
