The Mansion is a very unique property. The service was outstanding and the people were friendly! The property is located close to the metro area, making it a great weekend retreat. We have a new favorite place to getaway!

A totally wonderful experience! Gramercy is just a step away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Baltimore but worlds apart from the pretense of "wanna b" boutique hotels. The Tudor mansion is endowed with all the grace and charm of a classic B & B, but still maintains the measure of privacy one would expect from a small inn. The delicate balance is orchestrated by the owner Anne, her daughter, the executive inn keeper and their wonderful staff. Everything about the place is delightful. The grounds are well manicured, the inn is immaculate, and the rooms are reasonable, spacious and well appointed. Executive innkeeper, Bill Duffy, is a study in professionalism. His quick wit, attentiveness and local experience, made us feel right at home. Check out all the rooms on the website. They are all lovely and well appointed. We stayed in both their smallest and largest room and would not hesitate to return to either. DID I MENTION THE FANTASTIC BREAKFAST??? It is after all a B&B and Gramercys breakfast in bed is a real treat. A hearty thumbs up to Gramercy Mansion.....don't over look it.

Room Tip: The Hunt room, Aphrodite, and Tower room are on the 3rd fl....very quiet. Cassat and Tudor are in a...

The mansion is lovely and well cared for. The staff are very pleasant and work to make your stay enjoyable. In warmer weather the grounds are likely very attractive--our stay was in November. It's not far to downtown Baltimore and many nice restaurants.

Room Tip: The Bar Harbor room is a little small but nice. The sides of the bathtub are high and care should b...

Thanks so much for your review, Patricia! Each season offers it's own delights... the cozy fireplaces in the winter, the refreshing outdoor pool and spectacular gardens in the summer. Come back and see us in late April or early May... the spring gardens are lovely, especially when the magnolias are in bloom.

My sister held her wedding at Gramercy so I stayed for two nights with my boyfriend. The grounds in late fall were still beautiful and a perfect backdrop for her wedding and reception. Our room, the Bar Harbor room, was cozy and had literally everything we needed and more! I loved being able to use real teacups in the room, cozy up in front of the fireplace and relax in a big bubble bath (much needed the night before the wedding!). The huge TV was nice to keep my boyfriend busy while I was off getting ready with the girls. The staff was extremely friendly and informative and assisted my family through a very long, fun, and crazy night. Breakfast both mornings was delicious. I know I would definitely stay here again for a nice weekend away.

Room Tip: Bar Harbor room has a really comfy king-size bed, nice bathtub with jets, big dresser and closet, an...

I stayed here for a wedding over the weekend, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are quirky and unique, feels antique but still offers modern amenities. I can't believe how beautiful the grounds and gardens are, it's amazing that a place like this exists a cab ride away from Baltimore Penn station. And I have to mention- probably the best pancakes I've ever had.

Thanks so much for sharing your review. If you loved the pancakes, you'll have to visit again and try the French toast - thick delicious slices of Italian bread sprinkled with powdered sugar... yum!

My husband and I stayed at the Gramercy Mansion for two nights at the beginning of October. Our room was the Ambassador Room which was very beautiful and ornate. We especially loved the large size of the room which included a table, plush chairs, a desk and a beautiful working fireplace. I loved the huge walk-in closet that had enough room to store our luggage, hang up clothes and it had lots of shelves to put all my miscellaneous items. The full length mirror on the closet door was great for putting on make-up. The toiletries were the brand Thymes and were very nice.
We started the day with coffee and tea brought to our room at the time we specified. We were able to pick out what we wanted for breakfast by filling out a form the prior day and you could check off as many items as you wanted. Everything was very delicious and we loved Bill's homemade cakes! The house juice was also delicious. As cat lovers we enjoyed playing with adorable Romeow!
Bill was very friendly and funny and was always available to talk. He also gave us a tour of the house and rooms. Everyone was so nice and always gave us suggestions on where to eat and
things to do. We happened to be there when the temperatures were in the high 80s but the AC worked fine.
There was a wedding going on our second night there but it ended by 11:00 and didn't bother us at all. We were also informed of this when making our reservation.
We had a very restful time at the Gramercy Mansion and look forward to returning when in the area!

The beauty of the grounds is exceeded only by the beauty of the interior décor.
Each and every staff member that we came in contact with, was warm, friendly, knowledgeable
and efficient. They made you feel special and completely at home. The morning breakfast menu
was extensive and perfectly prepared. Our room was beautiful beyond belief and contained
all the luxurious amenities one could ask for. We felt very special, as though we were on our
second honeymoon fifty years later. This was our second visit, as our first one had been for a family affair. We vowed that any time we visited in the Baltimore area, this is where we
would stay. We highly recommend this charming mansion to anyone who wishes to escape
into a fanciful dreamland environment.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a king size bed.
