The hotel was very nice, big modern bathroom. Great location, sports bar very close with great specials on a sunday. Rate was good and included a discount on the parking. Breakfast was pretty good too. Fresh make your own waffles, Front desk clerk was very nice - big shout out to Ryan and the night desk clerk. Gave us great advice on resturant with free shuttle and directions for the free bus circulator to inner harbour. We checked out & were able to keep our car there while we went to the Aquarium and when we got back our car was waiting out front for us. Would definately stay here again!

Thank you for your review! We are happy to see you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to take in a few of the great attractions near the hotel. The National Aquarium is a favorite of many of our guests as well as our staff! I also want to thank you for recognizing the valet team.

My husband and I stayed here for the Baltimore marathon last week. Out room was comfortable, staff was friendly, loved the bathroom and shower (spacious), and the location. Parking prices were steep so we parked in a garage nearby for a third of the price. The continental breakfast was ok- I thought the hot food options were a little gross... Couldn't even eat half of my waffle and I love waffles! But the good news is there's awesome food nearby.
I'm still giving this hotel a five star review because we had an overall amazing experience and would definitely return!

Hello Courtney G,

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your room and our staff took good care of you while you were here with us. I'm sorry that our breakfast let you down. Hampton is always looking for ways to improve, and I'm happy to say that there is a new menu coming soon that will change some of the hot items that are provided. There are other changes coming as well as we will be renovating our hotel later this fall. Don't worry, it will not interfere with your stay in any way! We hope you come back for another visit soon!

Thank you,

I spent a short weekend in Baltimore for a concert at Soundstage in Inner Harbour and stayed at the Hampton Inn. The hotel is in a great location near Camden Yards, the Convention Center and only a short walk to Inner Harbour as well. The surrounding area is also safe and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, updated, clean, and comforable. It was also very quiet despite its location near the street.

Valet parking is quite expensive approximately $25 for 24 hrs. However, I found inexpensdive and secure parking just 2 blocks away on W. Pratt St. The parking deck is affiliated with the Univ. of Maryland Medical Center (646 W. Pratt St.) and only charges $8/24 hrs. I found this parking option using the "Better Parking" iphone app, which I highly recommend for major cities.

I found a great deal on Priceline "name your price." Regardless, the hotel is very affordable.

Overall, a great pleasant stay.

Right across from Camden Yard, but plenty quiet enough to get to sleep in the evenings. Walking distance to light rail and Orange Line circulator. Very friendly and helpful staff (even the valets). Close to Inner Harbor and the aquarium.

I stayed here for the baltimore marathon with my wife. We loved the location. Right across from the baseball stadium and near ravens statium, and short walk to the inner harbor. The room was very clean and fairly modern. The breakfast was well done and had staff thre to attend to you. They had fresh baked cookies in the evening! The indoor pool/hot tub was clean and pleasant.

I spent the Columbus Day Holiday Weekend at this Hampton Inn (Ravens vs. Packers). It is across the street from the Hilton and Orioles' Park at Camden Yards. It is also 1/4 mile from M&T Bank Stadium and Stub Hub tickets sets up in one of the conference rooms off of the lobby on Home Game mornings. Hampton offers free breakfasts which include everything from MYO waffles, cereal, eggs, oatmeal, bagels, toast, pastries, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yogurt, juices and all-day coffee and teas, free USA Todays and more. The room had a mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sink. There was plenty of room for a sofa, easy chair, coffee table, desk and chair and a king bed with a flat-screen TV. The only thing missing was an in-room safe, however, there are safe deposit boxes behind the front desk.

The hotel is 1/2 block from the Charm City Circulator (free bus) on Pratt St. that takes you to the Inner harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point plus transfer points to other parts of the city and 2 blocks from the Light Rail (only $1.60 from/to BWI). The rooms were really large, clean and relaxing. There are three bars next door - Pickles, Sliders and Frank & Macs that all offer multiple TVs, food and drinks and the first two are very active whereas Frank & Macs is more sedate. There is another restaurant one block away, the Diamond Tavern, across from Orioles' Park and Camden Yards, that is a little more classy with excellent food and drinks. Across from the Light Rail is the Convention Center. I will come back here based upon the prices and the accommodations - better than many that are $50 - 100 more per night.

Room Tip: Ask for the upper rooms on the corner of Greene St. and Washington Blvd.

If you like the Hampton brand (as we do) you should be very happy here. Clean and comfortable, and it is ideally situated for Orioles and Ravens games, for the Convention Center and the Inner Harbor.
A chain hotel has to be exceptional for us to give a rating of 5, but We think this one is. We stayed there when there was a convention in town, and the hotel was full. The staff continued to be cheerful and helpful and (a critical test) supplies at breakfast were maintained smoothly. We also had a transportation issue, which the staff resolved for us.
