The location is perfect to catch an O's game or even a Raven's game. The pre gaming for the O's game is right outside the hotel. This is set up with lots of vendors and the pub next door. The Inner Harbor is also walkable from here. This hotel is very clean! Our room was actually a good size for a Baltimore hotel but the colors were maybe a bit dated. All of the staff was friendly and I really appreciated the transportation service. There is a transportation service which was a nice SUV instead of a sketchy taxi you would catch normally. There is a fee for the service but it is reasonable and you can arrange this with the front desk or talk to the valet outside. I thought the valet pricing was also reasonable and comparable to other hotels in the city. I thought it was an added touch that the toiletries included a make-up wipe and I had left mine at home! We checked in early around 1 pm with no problem and all of the staff was friendly. Make sure to put your Do Not Disturb sign out if you do not want Housekeeping to come around in the morning. Breakfast in the morning was better than average. There was a good combination of hot and cold items and a waffle maker. I hope to stay here again for upcoming games!

We've stayed here before, and I booked it again as we were going to an Orioles game. The location is perfect, a short walk to the Inner Harbor, but for Camden Yards you can literally throw a baseball from the hotle to the ballpark-it is right across the street!!! We left the game and were in our room 5 minutes after the last out! Comfortable, cozy, clean, friendly desk and parking help, good breakfast, and a photo of Babe Ruth on the wall in your room too!!!! I know the Bambino would have LOVED to havestayed here too!!!

Wonderful hotel that is very clean and very well maintained. The staff is very helpful such as providing menus for great food delivery options The valet lot is a little overpriced & so crowded that we did not realize we had driven past the entrance. No worries for we found overnight parking cheaper elsewhere. Standard HI Breakfast - very well stocked.

However, in the future for an Inner Harbor visit we might rather go east of the Inner Harbor - I just feel there is a little more to do with older kids and many more food choices to pick from in the early evening in Fells Point area. Although I really wonder if any other hotel in Baltimore can be as well kept as this Hampton Inn?

We decided to try this hotel because we had previously stayed at the Hilton next door on our last trip and were not happy with finding extra charges on our bill after checking out.

On this trip, we had just got off a cruise ship and planned on staying in Baltimore to watch a Raven's game. We arrived at 9.30am hoping that they would be able to store our luggage until check-in so that we could explore the Inner Harbor. However, they were able to check us in early! The room was clean and a pretty good size. There was no view but we were grateful for that later because we were on the opposite side of the hotel to the bars below which have beer gardens on game days. We were not disturbed by the noise trying to sleep.

The staff were very friendly and the valet team were great. If there has to be a downside, it is that your only option for parking is using valet which costs $29 a night. However, you have to remember that you are in the middle of a city and no matter where you go, there will usually be parking issues. At least the hotel has free wi-fi which I had to pay for at the Hilton so that was a bonus for me.The room had one of those AC units which constantly goes on and off. It gets quite cold sometimes and you cannot change the temp because it is remotely controlled.

I love that Hampton Inns always provide a breakfast. Considering that it was free, it was pretty good. Enough to satisfy us at least. They have a pool which I did not use but my husband saw it while using the gym. He was surprised that there was a lifeguard on duty. The pool and gym areas were clean and working.

I would stay here again when visiting Baltimore. Very close to both stadiums and with friendly staff and clean rooms, you can't go wrong.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 715 which is overlooking the powerstation. It was on the opposite side of the hote...

We stayed at this HI for one night to attend an Oriole game. This is a baseball fan's dream hotel. The lobby's decor is all about baseball from the glove chair to the chain link fence on the wall and the bat coat hangers. The kids loved it! Check in was smooth and easy, (Thanks Sierra!) The parking is tough and valet was our choice. The valet guys were very helpful. Camden Yards is located directly across from hotel and a few pubs just outside entrance serving food & alcohol for fans. The room we got was roomy & spacious with 2 queen beds & a pull out sofa bed. Room also included a small refrigerator & microwave. Everything was clean and well kept. The hotel is also very close to the Babe Ruth Museum, you follow the baseballs on the sidewalk. Breakfast is standard by HI standards, but this works well for our family, not having to search for a breakfast place to feed kids. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Spent two nights here to visit a customer and see a baseball game. Perfect location for Camden Yards. Great bed, clean updated room with flat panel. Pretty standard Hampton experience which met my expectations. I'd stay here again. Parking was a little tight so plan on valet to save yourself the hassle.

We arrived at the hotel 3:15pm on August 9th for a 1 night stay. The valet parking area was in disarray but the attendant did an outstanding job getting us a ticket & on the move into the lobby. Check in was a breeze (no wait) and the elevator was never a long wait. Our room faced Camden Yards. It was cool for my 4 year old son to look out the window & see the ballpark. We had two queen beds. The room was clean & the air worked well (except for the muggy bathroom with no air to speak of). We received a call from downstairs asking how we like the room (great touch that more hotels should practice). We went to the lobby for dinner advice & the hotel receptionist was very helpful. We ended up at a nice seafood place 2 1/2 blocks away. She also helped us locate the Charm City circulator (free bus that takes you around the city).

The only negatives were the beds were a little soft for our taste, the people in the room next to us were yelling at the tv late at night (Olympics) & breakfast was average at best.

We'd definitely stay at this hotel our next trip to Baltimore.

Tip: Book the Wheel INN package to have valet parking included (you save $5 over the regular parking price of $29).
