When visiting my brother in Baltimore, Slainte is the first place we go to for a beer (or two) and the Poutine Fries. By the way, we each get our own, it is just that good! Can't wait to visit again.

I have visited this place many times. I usually take visitors from out of town to Fells Point and go here for dinner. It has food to serve every taste, including native Irish dishes. I highly recommended. However, it is not always a quiet place. On game night (whatever game happens to be shown on the TV) there are a lot of fans cheering and hollering. It's a festive atmosphere but don't go on a Friday or Saturday night expecting a quiet evening out.(This is probably true of most bar pubs in Fells Point.)

Most Irish pubs you go to drink and not to eat. This place is a drinking Irish pub but Bonus, it has good food too, Have then take you upstairs above the main bar, and not only will you have a taste of a great ole time Baltimore Irish pub but the food was good too. I had the lobster roll and it had a lot of lobster on it, it was great. The view is wonderful up top, great place, enjoy!

Was there for lunch this past week, with a party of 8. We were seated in the room past the bar, which was rather dark....making it difficult to read the menus. The Waiter was very nice, took our order without writing it down, however did mess up a few things. Several in our party came later, yet were served first which was odd. The lunch specials were a nice option....highly recommend the cod sliders. The onion soup was weak, so was sorry I didn't get the potato leek, as people raved about same. The side salad had a red, weird dressing on the side...not certain what flavor it was. The corned beef was very good, too. Nice people there, but wouldn't go out of my way to return, particularly with the parking challenges in Fells Point.
