“Perfect location, great room...what more could you want?”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Stayed here for three nights in July at the height of the tourist season. This hotel is located a few blocks from the Inner Harbor and within a very short walk of Camden Yards ballpark. It's easy to reach from I-95 or 295.

There's a restaurant in the hotel which provides room service - try the tater tots with crab dip!! Several fast-food places are nearby, there's a Royal Farm convenience store across the street, as well as some pubs and good restaurants nearby and at the Inner Harbor. Little Italy is a longer walk away but not too far. It's a typical Residence Inn - buffet breakfast in the morning which was very crowded, unfortunately, but all the standards are there including yogurt, waffles, eggs, bagels, coffee, juice, cereal - a full-size kitchen in the rooms, complimentary Internet in the rooms.

The room itself was huge and was immaculate. Housekeeping was fantastic. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. We used the valet parking, and while it was expensive, it was worth not having to deal with city parking or the garage. We will most definitely stay here again.

stayed here for two nights during a convention. (very easy walk to BCC)The rooms are clean, spacious, and have comfortable beds. this is one of the only places near all the attractions that will give you a full kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was among the better I've had at business class hotels. elevators are key locked for added security. I will be staying here again.

Just got home from Baltimore. This hotel is a great place. The staff was so helpful from the minute we got out of our car to the time we left. I did a lot of research into this trip and we ALL couldn't be happier with this hotel. We arrived early and were able to check in with no problem. The room was spotless!! That's very important to me. The breakfast offers a variety of things such as oatmeal to Belgian waffles to make, fruit, bagels, eggs, and some awesome coffee!!! Only 2 blocks from the harbor and close to Camden yards. I felt very safe walking with my husband and daughter even coming home at 9:30 pm. The $32.00 for valet is worth it too. It is a steep price to pay but you don't have to worry about driving anywhere and then having to pay for parking somewhere else. Everything is in walking distance. You won't be disappointed with this hotel. I know we weren't.

I stayed for around 27 days in July-Aug 2013. The rooms are pretty good decent large sized rooms, with television and a functional kitchenette.
The staff is warm and courteous.
But there are some issues with the rooms few of which they addressed/few which needed addressing.
I was in room 804:
1. The flush wasnt proper, after complaining a couple of times it was finally fixed
2. The bath drainage wasnt proper, water used to fill-up and not drain easily. Room service did not fix it
3. There were some small nails inside the carpets that used to prick me every other day once I came out of the bathroom - never complained - never fixed. But thankfully it never hurt me very bad.

They have a very basic gym nothing fancy few cardio machines and dumbells.
The competitors on the same road have attractions such as free cocktail nights but here there are hardly any such attractions. We had chips & cheese one night thats all.

Breakfast was good, but being a vegetarian the options were very limited.
The front-desk has few useful stuff for a quick bite. But the frozen food has zero veggie options :), closest u can get it some ravioli- even that has egg in it. I have stayed at Residence inn in Mettawa, they did have few veggie options.

The property is very good very accessible to most places, extremely close to the inner harbor but I hope they get their rooms right.
They can offer much more to the customers, e.g daily attractions at least on weekdays.
Some more thought will make a long stay truly memorable.

We stayed at many different hotels during my family's recent three week vacation but in terms of value for what we paid this may have been our favorite. It was a great location just a few blocks from the Inner Harbor and within walking distance of Camden Yards. My son really loved the hotel because he had a separate room with a sofa sleeper. Having a regular size fridge not a mini fridge was great. The valet parking attendants were great. The area around the hotel was very crowded when we got there but they had us unloaded and had our car moved in no time. We had heard that Baltimore was not safe but we walked all over the Inner Harbor and had no problems. Make sure and check out the great restaurants in Little Italy. It is only a short walk away.

Hotel is in good shape. Rooms are very spacious, which is typical of Residence Inn. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ideal place to stay for Inner Harbor or Camden Yards. Simple walk (2 blocks) to Inner Harbor, easy walk (6 blocks?) to Camden yards.

Staff is attentive; for instance they opened an overflow seating room when the existing breakfast area became filled to capacity.

A little bit of noise from the streets below but it is the city after all.

Parking was a bit steep.

They should chase the smokers from the front step though - it seemed like there was a constant presence of smokers puffing away out front; 7-11’s don’t even allow that anymore.

Overall it is a nice place to stay for the money – I’d do it again.
.

Room Tip: The higher the better to lessen street noise.

We shared a two bedroom/2 bath suite. Our room was ready when we arrived and check-in was a breeze. Valet parking attendants were great. Helped with our luggage and parked the car in no time. Our room was very clean upon arrival. Housekeeping I believe was overwhelmed because during our stay there were dirty towels/plates out in the hallway until dinnertime. Our room was not cleaned properly during our stay. Bathrooms needed a once over but it seemed that housekeeping only replaced towels and removed trash.

The free breakfast was a nightmare. The women who were working were trying to keep up with the demand, but they could not with only 2 people. Management needs to hire more people. They ran out of plates, forks, spoons and food and orange juice. It seems like the buffet could use some major reorganization because it seemed like everyone was in each others' way. The coffee was great.

This hotel was in a good location and we had a great meal at La Scala in Little Italy who sent their van to pick us up. We also ate at Mo's and the food was good but it seemed a little dirty and service was not good.
