“It's a great place.”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

I was surprised by this place. It is one of my favorites. I would come back again. The place is really clean. I believe the place was built in 2006 and was renovated in 2009. We stayed in a suite with a small kitchen. It was convenient for us to cook and store food in the big refrigerator. There is five of us but didn't feel crowded even though it wasn't a big room. The room had a lot of windows and really clean carpets. Those are good thing. We had free breakfast, which is a plus in my book. The food was decent. The only think that they didn't have is a pool. But we were able to use Hampton Inn's pool which was only half block away. We enjoy the pool. The location was perfect. We walked to the inner harbor for dinner. There is not many negatives. I wish the bathroom was a little bigger and a large ice maker on the floor.

I stayed here for a work meeting and it was very nice. The rooms were spacious with little kitchenettes and a sitting area. The rooms were also very clean. Food for breakfast was okay, but included. A nice little bar in the lobby and a couple of little taverns nearby. Definitely have to valet. I would stay here again.

A great hotel; close to the inner harbor, minutes away from the Fells area, friendly and very helpful staff. Clean. The valet parking service is needed and excellent! No waits, always with a smile. Great guys.
And all at a good price.
We will come back.

We spent the final night of our trip here. We arrived at about 12, were shown to a very large studio with two queen size beds, the room was really nice and open however not what we reserved. After a call from the front desk we were upgraded from the king studio we booked to a one bedroom king room on a higher level. The room was clean, the view was great and quite comfortable. Again the front desk called to see if the room was ok. The staff was friendly and efficient. We felt very safe here, since you needed to use your room key to access any floors from the elevators. Only complaint- no in room safe. We went to a Yankees/Orioles game so the city was very busy. Although not directly on the inner harbor it was an easy walk. There are a few little café's right next to the hotel where you can grab a bit to eat/ drink or just chill out. Looks like there may be a nightclub in the alley as well. All in all this was a really nice hotel and we would definitely stay here again when in Baltimore vs. the big Marriot.

Love this well located Residence Inn in the Inner Harbor. Great stay for a Northern down for a Yankee Game. The staff can't do enough for you and staff is superb. Great breakfast...can't beat it. Restaurant and bar have good food, as well. Well managed from the front door and throughout. Nice lounge area with couches, big screen tv., and chairs. Lots to do in the Harbor and surrounding area. Free bus line all around the historical area from the corner of the Inn.

We were pleasantly greeted by the Valet staff. There is a charge for parking $32 per night. Which seems high. But it is the going rate in Baltimore. We liked the location only 2 blocks from the Inner Harbor. Everything was within walking distance. Our room was on the 7th floor, there was a funky smell once the elevator doors opened, think Chinese food sitting out too long. That was all I could think it was. We were there three nights and you smelled it everytime we used the hallway to get to/from the elevator. Once in our room, it was clean, no issues, other then I stated 'extra towels needed' when reserving our rooom. But none were provided. I had tried to call the front desk from the room - NO ANSWER. I went down to the desk was pleasantly greeted, the clerk apologized and had housekeeping bring them to our room. The housekeeping person was approaching our room as I was walking back to the room. Food was served everymorning downstairs, good selection was available and restocking was great. The only issue was that there was a delay in coffee, I ended up getting my coffee from the courtesy counter in the hall. Check out was a breeze, valet had allowed 15 min (noted on the claim check) but it was more like 5 min for them to pull around our car. Other then the funky smell, room had full size fridge, microwave, stove, dishes/utensils, etc. This was our first time using Residence Inn, for our stay with parking was $849 which I feel was a tad pricey compared to other hotels nearby.

Room Tip: We got a high floor away from traffic, but you could still hear noise from sirens of emergency vehic...

We spent one night as we made our way from Annapolis, to DC and then back home. The hotel was a short walk to the Inner harbor and Camden Yards where we went to see the Orioles play. Wish he had had more time to explore more of Baltimore. Would definitely go back. Hotel room was large and appeared clean. There was a little street noise on the 12th floor, but not enough to be bothersome. Beds were fairly comfortable. Don't like the vanity set up in the room with no door - you bother everyone if you have to be at the sink while people are sleeping. Staff was friendly and responsive to requests. Breakfast was very good. Overall a great choice in my opinion.

Room Tip: Stay on higher floors if street noise bothers you.

Thanks for the great review. Thank you for your feedback regarding the vanity being separate from the bathroom. We have two room types that have vanity area's that are inside the bathroom. 03's and the 09's. Both of these rooms are Studio Double Queen Suites.

You visited some of our best attractions this trip, however, consider these attractions next time: the National Aquarium, the Babe Ruth Museum, the Rail Road Museum, the Science Center, and of course...going to see the Super Bowl Champs Baltimore Ravens this fall.
