This was the first time I've gone to a show at the historic Hippodrome. What a beautiful theater! While you are waiting to go into the show you can peruse the blown-up old photos of the theater, newspaper articles from when it opened in 1912 and the surrounding buildings on Eutaw St. The theater itself is a gem that has been restored wonderfully. We saw "Million Dollar Quartet" and all four of the actors/singers were dead-on as the musicians they portrayed: Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry-Lee Lewis. A memorable evening!
