We heard alot about the Rusty Scuper, so my husband surprised me for Mother's Day. It was quiet busy to say the least, but it was Mother's Day and pretty much expected...glad we had reservations. They seated us right away. The servers were very courteous and attentive, the food was fresh and delicious, plenty of good choices. The drinks were great as well, the desserts were tasty and plentiful. We rode the water taxi over to the restaurant, which was a beautiful sight and added to the excitement of the day, had a great view of the harbor at our table. The brunch was quite pricey, but it included the buffet, drinks, live jazz band and gratuity. There was a breakfast station, carving station, omlette station, seafood station and dessert station...great variety to choose from. We enjoyed our experience.

As a fan of Princeton's Rusty Scupper before it closed, our choice for dinner at the Inner Harbor was clear. We were seated by a window with a spectacular view and received attentive service from Hugh, our knowledgeable and patient server. For a high volume kitchen, the food was surprisingly good. The wine list included several good, moderately priced choices. Although it was Saturday evening, we were able to enjoy a leisurely, two hour dinner. We would definitely return.

We were in the area for a convention and booked lunch at The Rusty Scupper. There were four people in our party. Two in our party ordered fish and chips, the other two ordered crab cakes. We were all very pleased with our lunch and the service. The restrooms were clean and we had a nice view of the habor.

The Rusty Scupper restaurant is clearly a crowd favorite in Baltimore, but after one dinner on a recent short visit to Baltimore, I suspect those in the know can do better. My cream of crab soup was gluey, redolent of sherry but with precious little crab. The crab cake was OK, but not as tasty as the one I sampled at Gertrude's restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Wine at $10 a glass a little spendy for a mediocre label. Very attentive service by an earnest young man. The best aspect of the meal was our waterside table which provided a great view of the harbor activity. This was clearly a case of location, location, location - at the sacrifice of the food. Oh well, at least it was edible, of overpriced

We were in Baltimore seeing the sites of Baltimore. Restaurant caught our eye across the Bay. This is an upscale restaurant. We felt under-dressed in our capris and tennis shoes.
Our seat overlooked the Cheseapeke Bay. The food was amazing, the drinks used high end liquor.
1 1/2lb Alaskan King Crab $65.. but worth every delicious nibble!
