“Our Favorite Upscale”
Reviewed May 4, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I try to come here once a month, we enjoy getting dolled up for a nice dinner. This place has the right attitude about upscale and casual. The food may be a bit pricy but when you out the entirety of your night together here it is well worth it. Honeymoon is coming soon, and we will be dining at the prime rib.

“Excellent and VERY charming”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

A VERY chraming place for couples, any age. It feels like you are some years back in time, the deco is perfect and the food is tasty, to say the least. Just love the place.

“NOT Child Friendly despite being told otherwise”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

My wife and I have been trying to plan a celebration dinner for a while, so of course we picked our favorite restaurant. My wife made the reservation. We decided to try and be bold and bring our 17 month old daughter to dinner with us, she is very good when we take her out. When making our reservation, my wife decided to call just because she wanted to make sure it would be OK with our daughter. When speaking with the nice young woman on the phone, my wife was assured that the restaurant LOVES kids and would be more than happy to have us. We thought this was great.

Upon our arrival, we were seated in the main dining room, where the piano is, and were in the back left corner along with another couple with a 7 month old. The maitre d said that this was the children's corner... A high chair was brought out for us and all, everything was fine. Our waiter was great, being prompt at first with drinks and orders. Everything was moving along fine.

Our daughter became a bit restless/loud, as any 17 month old would do and is very typical. She loved the piano player, and he had taken a break only after about 20 minutes of playing. We had the maitre d approach us asking "Does she need to go for a walk? We have had a complaint about the noise." I was flabbergasted. This guy had the audacity to ask us if she needed to go for a walk. The situation could have been handled differently. From then on, we could not enjoy our $200.00 dinner. We had to take turns eating dessert, and being outside with our daughter because we felt so uncomfortable.

This has left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't tell your customers that you are extremely child friendly, and then have the maitre d make you feel so uncomfortable that you can't enjoy your dinner.

“Classic, high class steak house”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

This has been a go-to place for me for years, as are the ones in DC and Towson. I hadn't been back since we moved away, but had a chance to visit and it is still great. Dressy, but very comfortable in a high end way.

The beef and martinis are amazing, as is the wine list.
