“Consistently dependable meal”

Just wanted to say that this Roy's was much like the other locations with interesting food combinations and different selections at each location. We always order appetizers in order to get a variety of tastes in. At this location the place was quite busy but we were able to sit at the bar for our meal. Enjoyed the meal, though the soybeans were pretty bad. I would recommend this restaurant for a good meal but don't expect the same kind of meal selection that the other Baltimore restaurants offer (e.g. no blue crab dishes).

Enjoyed various Roy's for many years. A dependable place for good food, cocktails and service, irregardless of how busy they were. Roy's Baltimore did not fit that mold. Our hostess left us 'hanging' for 25 minutes for our reserved seats; our server remembered to greet my husband once we were seated, but almost forgot me; he then forgot my drink order and, our dessert... which had been ordered at the beginning of the meal. He was also too busy to bring our dessert himself though he did show at the end of the meal in order to take our birthday picture. Perhaps server Darius was out of his depth. Either way..will not return here.

“The Pineapple Upside Down Cake is Worth the Wait”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Ate here with a group of ten people. Everyone liked what they ordered. The dish I chose was a seafood dish with a crab cake, small lobster tail, and shrimp. A little pricey, but very delicious.

They tell you that the Pineapple Upside Down Cake takes a little longer, but they bake it fresh (the size of a large cupcake), and serve it with coconut ice cream. Worth the wait. Others in our group got the molten chocolate cake which was also delicious.

I visted Roy's as a friend suggested it to me while I was in town. I happened to stop in during thier happy hour menu. Everything on the menu was $6. This was a great way to try many different things. I had the lobster postickers and the short rib tacos both of which were amazing. The drink selection was also great. The staff is great and while you are at the bar they give you edamame that was amazing.
