We were fortunate to get a seat at the bar as we arrived without a reservation at the last minute on a friday night. Service and food were excellent. Great vibe to the restaurant - crowded and lively. Had great clams and haddock entrees. Will definitely come again!

Lovely little restaurant with quality food and service. I contacted them fairly late with a request and they kindly accommodated me.The host and bartender were extremely helpful with my dinner/wine choices. Really loved this place.

It's clear to me that because of the very limited seating, the restaurant needs to flip tables. After ordering two plates 'as an appetizer' and them arriving, the main courses showed up as well. I was literally taking items off of the table and putting them on the floor to make space. Server literally just stood and watched rather than suggest coming back in a few, re-firing etc.
Also, because of the need to flip tables, and the cramped space, it is nigh on impossible to have a conversation without being drowned out by the server speaking to someone nearby.
Finally, be prepared to get to know your neighbors well if seated in the back. Zero privacy, so not the place for a romantic or business meal.

While the food might be enjoyable on its own, the environment does not make for a pleasant experience. A cocktail each, two appetizers and two mains in 45 minutes flat. If I was paying bar prices, maybe I could forego this and see it as 'character,' but bar prices these are most definitely not.

If you want to experience Peter's Inn then I suggest you arrive as close to 5 p.m. as possible to have a hope of getting a seat. Ideally, you should make a reservation if you can - it's limited. Cocktails start at 5 and the kitchen opens at 6. It's a cozy, bustling venue with a comfortable 'you're in the club' vibe. Seating is New York City tight but the food is so delicious and the service so impeccable that it just doesn't matter. Go and enjoy and if they have the smoked trout dish with pumpernickel bread order it - it's a huge portion. Don't miss out on this Baltimore City gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and meeting new folks sitting next to us. If you don’t like close quarters - this is NOT the spot for you but the ever changing menu is full of great options and our dinner was divine.
