We go to Egyptian Pizza often and always enjoy it. The tajines are really good, and the baba ganoush appetizer is a favorite of ours. The India Pizza and the Sharm-el-Sheq are others we often order. We have noticed, however, on the last few visits, that the restaurant is skimping just a bit on ingredients--a little less caviar on the Sharm-el-Sheq, parsley instead of the advertised cilantro, etc. Still good, but previously we would have rated it excellent. It's the place we go most often when we want something good but easy, not a place we have to dress up for.

We went to Egyptian Pizza because we had a Groupon, which I'm really glad we did because if I had paid full price I would have been more upset. We shared a Sharm El-sheq pizza with salmon and fontina cheese. The crust is similar to nan bread. The flavor was good, but it was served barely warm. Our daughter's hamburger (from the children's menu) was served barely warm as well with undercooked cold french fries. Our server left the restaurant in the middle of service to run an errand and someone else took our order. Our new server could not describe the calamari appetizer except to tell us she was allergic to it. We were offered no refills on drinks. By the time we finished, our original server was back. When our check did not total $25 to use the Groupon, I ordered a bottle of Dasani water, as it was described on the menu. Geez...sell what is on the menu instead of trying to cheap your way out of it. We won't be returning.

If you want Domino's pepperoni, this is not for you. They have lots of exotic combinations as well as other entrees. The decor is nice. It is a good place for a family.
