“Loud place for locals with good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2012

I really hate to say it, but the first thing I think about with Ryleigh’s was how loud it was. Our goal was to go there and take our time and have some drinks, get some food and kill time before the Orioles game. We were seated right away when we arrived and as soon as we sat down the place was overrun with soccer fans from a soccer game that just finished. Definitely a spot for locals which is great but after about an hour, my wife and I could not have a conversation without shouting into each other’s ear. The Char grilled oysters where very good although they were small for the price. But it could have been because they were served on a large plate. We then had the crab pretzels by mistake. We tried to order the mussels but because it was so loud the waitress thought we said pretzels. But we ate them anyways and they were very good and the crab dip on top had tremendous flavor. We both said we would go back and give it another go so we could try the entrees another time.

“Fabulous Happy Hour!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

We went here because we had a gift certificate and loved it. Great fresh seafood and a nice happy hour. Attentive staff. Also tried a raspberry crush drink which was delicious. Beer list was ok...but kind of run of the mill for Baltimore. I didn't see a bottle list which may have been better. Would totally visit again.

“Good food!”

Always had good food here. Although I like the mussles at Porters or Row House Grill better. Great happy hour deals, just wish they still had crushes on special...

“Great Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2012

Our son, who lives in Baltimore, took us to the this Bar. We ordered the Grand Seafood Tray. It was really good. Fresh, raw and cooked items. Crab, shrimp and oysters. We didn't order any other food but other customers plates looked good. They offered "crush" drinks in many flavors. Great assortment of beers and wines. The huge front windows open onto the street allowing warm cooking aromas to the street and a cool breeze inside. The place is decorated in New England Fishing Pier style. Waitress was ok. There were also tvs everywhere tuned to different sporting events should you need to know the score of something. We were too early for Happy Hour which features $1 oysters $3 craft beer.
