On a recent trip to Baltimore we headed to little Italy for dinner. We had no specific place in mind. While walking around little Italy, a women came out of her house and we ask her for the best Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and she recommended La Scala.
We were VERY glad we took her suggestion. Excellent food and outstanding service.
The Chef came out to say hello to all of the tables. It was a very enjoyable evening.
The restaurant even has a van that will take you back to your hotel.
I highly recommend La Scala. You will not be disappointed.

Of all the places in Little Italy, this is by far my favorite. Always a warm greeting, always good service, and the food is excellent. Went there recently with two friends for my Birthday and as usual, a very very very good dining experience. Not to mention and after dinner Bocci game. Go! You'll love it.

This was our 2nd time to this restaurant and it will not be our last! We went with another couple and every one of us raved about our food choices. The ambiance is amazing and probably would not suggest bringing small children (even though I adore them). Lovely place to celebrate Anniversaries, etc. They offer valet service to your motel, in the area.

In town for a Yankees/Orioles game, we wanted to take a break from all the crab cakes and headed for dinner in Little Italy. Imagine our surprise when we called for directions and they said they would pick us up at our hotel!!!! The complimentary valet service was a huge plus and a great way to start the evening. The food was good, service very pleasant - I ordered a veal chop special which was just OK, but everything else was quite good. There are so many restaurants in that section of Baltimore to try....I will probably go to a different one on my next visit, but La Scala is worth the trip!

Chose this restaurant based on TA reviews. We were happy with the choice. The bocce court makes for fun environment and the service was very good. The food was ok - some dishes better than others - wine list was good. The prosciutto and parmesan antipasto was fabulous!
