Second time to visit Kali's Court and again a great dining experience. A beautiful selection of foods, from start to finish. Wonderful wait staff, lovely athmosphere. Wine list is good. My husband is a fan of tuna tartar and he thought this was one of the best. Fresh and wonderfully presented.

stopped by to have coctails and appetizers and wish we could have stayed longer, the drinks, the tuna appetizer and the scallop appetizer were excellent, not to mention the service, there are some restaurants that could take a lot of notes from that place.Cant wait for the chance to go there for dinner. thumbs up to who ever takes care of the plants.... and also look for Kenny, if you want taken care of and made to feel special...

“Fine Dining in Baltimore”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

Hidden behind a small forest of shrubbery, where a few lucky diners enjoy the pleasant air of a pre-Autmun night (Only the lucky get to snag an outdoor table), Kali's Court is a very pleasant, nicely appointed room,

The first thing to catch your eye in this discreetly lit atmosphere is a large display of fresh seafoood on a small mountain of ice.

Service is professional, efficient and quick, yet not unfriendly.

The drinkls are properly done. The food is fresh, tasty and very well prepared.

My Lady Wife rated the crabcakes as "quite good".

My grilled Bronzini was moist, flavorful, almost completely without bones, and smelled ever-so-faintly of a wood fire.

In place of dessert we had the cheese plate - 4 nice-sized portions of soft and semi-soft. Very good.

There is a broad selection wines (we liked no 542, a pleasant Vouvray).

Overall, a very good place for a special occasion.

Dinner for two with drinks, wine, cheese plate, coffee and tip $230 (185 Euro)

“Walked Out”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

Spouse and I made reservations five days in advance and requested a quiet table for two. When we arrived, we were seated next to a party of 10, later, a party of eight sat on the other side of us. Management's response was, "We are busy tonight." Well, duh, that's why we wanted a quite table in a side room, not the main room. So much for respecting special requests!
Needless to say, our server's attention was consumed (no pun) by the largest party. After 10 minutes of ignoring our arrival, when, from over my shoulder, a wet menu was slapped by the server who passed behind me then around the table to plop another wet menu in front of my spouse as he scampered from our table to another.
After 15 minutes we able to order drinks and our courses. The drinks and appetizers arrived in 10 minutes. Then 45 minutes after we arrived, while we were still eating our first courses and drinks, the waiter asked if we minded if he brought our main course white wines. No problem, okay.
Except 30 minutes after that we still didn't have our main courses. We'd now been seated at Kali's Court for 1.5 hours. Other parties had arrived, finished their meals and left and we were still sitting with first course drinks/dishes and now warm second course white wines. At this point we decided to leave. My spouse stopped the server and asked for the check. The server didn't say a word, just blinked with surprise and walked away. We waited another seven minutes and left without paying.
Three afternoons later, I called the business office to let them know why we left - just in case they were wondering. No one was interested in talking to me - it wasn't their job - but they took my number and said they'd pass it onto the manager. I never got a phone call back. Additionally, they have my spouse's contact information, which he gave when we made the reservation. Obviously, what we think about this restaurant is unimportant to the owners; they have the volume to offset incidents like this one.
We figure we enjoyed two glasses of champagne and two nice appetizers in return for 117 minutes of poor service.
