Loved hanging with these people! Loved the story of Doc the ghost but unfortunately couldn't get a pic if him. Great food, service, and atmosphere!

First impressions weren't great here. First, when we walked in all heads turned to look at us - must be a 'locals' place? The place was really crowded and we were seated at the very back, by the staff area and bathrooms. Ordered a bucket of Yuengling which was a decent deal. Bathroom was tiny and a one-stall so of course there was always a wait for the lady's room.

This place was recommended by my guide book as having the best crab cakes in Baltimore. I hopped off the boat tour from Fort McHenry and had lunch there. The crab cakes are fabulous and affordable. I rounded it out with a nice cocktail. Great corner pub with friendly service.

Went for lunch on a recent Friday when we were in town for an O's game. The Crabcakes were great. Not full of bread crumbs. Lots of chunks of Crab. We got 'em without a bun as we're trying to cut down on the bread, so the Crabcakes were standing alone. And they delivered the goods. The beer specials were great. We had some local craft, some Natty Boh, and a Guiness with a Shamrock in the foam. Good service. Good atmosphere. We ate inside as opposed to outside as I don't like eating outside in cities - bugs, cars, panhandlers....

Worth visiting.

We asked Gary the Bartender over at the Wharf Rat who had the best crab cakes in the neighborhood and he immediately recommended Duda's. He was not kidding. The cakes were loaded with big pieces of lump crab and had very little filler, and they were cooked to perfection. The beer selection here is very good and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We went back the next evening to give their soft shell crab a try. Although not quite as good as the cakes, it was still outstanding. The staff was glad to see us the second night and despite being slammed took good care of us.
