“Caesars Den is not like the Rest”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

It's not New York. It's not Boston. It's not Italy. It's Baltimore. It's clean, it's good, it's a good value if you choose wisely. The service is efficient, the wine by the carafe is good and relatively cheap.

You won't spend more than in any of the other restaurants in Little Italy and you won't spend nearly as much as you will in many of the places recommended by your hotel concierge or your cousin who lives in the burbs. You'll get a better meal and a better value for your money.

Seriously, there should be more reviews for this place and even more positive reviews. Try the Prix Fixe menu It is good. Period.

“Always the Best”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

We have been eating in Little Italy, Baltimore for many years, but we always return to Caesar's Den. What is nice is that if you don't see what you want on the menu, they can usually accommodate your wishes; for example, they prepared for us veal and eggplant parm even though it was not listed on the menu. The food is excellent, and they also from time to time have specials. Our past visit they had a price fixed dinner for $20 and change.

“Simply put, great food and service”
Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

This place has authentic Italian food. We ordered the spaghetti and the linguini scampi dish with seafood. Each dish had just the right amount of delicious, savory sauce. The homemade Caesar salad is to die for and the cocktails are well made. The service was fast and friendly and the prices reasonable. We will be coming back very soon!

“Baltimore Classic - Not trendy, just good.”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

Owner/Chef Guido is a master at the grill. Veal chop, Osso Buco, mixed grill with sausage are the highlights, perfectly sauced. There's even a 20 oz veal chop if you are seriously hungry. The rest of the menu is good as well, but the grilled meats...
This is not an upscale Olive Garden, it's an old school place where the waiters don't kneel next to your table and food is taken seriously, but not pretentiously, and well behaved kids are treated like royalty.
For a light dessert, try the lemon ice in a lemon shell.

“A Little Italy Gem”
Reviewed April 13, 2012

We've been coming here forever, and are treated like family. It's not a fancy or dress up place, and it could use a little sprucing up, but the food and service are excellent. The owner, Guido, is in the kitchen, and always makes his rounds through the room to greet his customers. The staff is friendly and responsive, but not obtrusive, and the pacing is just right. The food reminds me of the meals that were served in my Italian family. While some might be tempted to bring a toddler based on a previous review, PLEASE DON'T RUIN THIS FOR THE REST OF US. No one wants to hear a meltdown while dining. Get a sitter and enjoy a night out.
