Filet mignon, mussels, mahi mahi - all done so well. Vegetables were crisp, filet was cooked exactly as requested. It was tender and juicy. The crab hash with the mahi mahi was a tasty addition to a well-prepared fish (good balance of cubed potatoes and sizable crab pieces).
The only downside was the bar tender (who was just filling in) and owner. We ate a a nearby restaurant the night before, and the staff there were a cut above -- pleasant and interesting. It's not that they were unpleasant; rather, they just seemed to be bothered by our attempts to make conversation. Note to self: don't bother trying to engage them.
Outside seating was quaint, and a smaller inside seating area was available.
We did not engage the other staff, so I cannot speak to their personalities or performance.
Still, all things considered, the food was so good I'd have to return and try the other items on the menu.
