nice location, acceptable, not great food. I thought as women travelers we were dissed and given a less than optimal table given what was available.

Coming from a west coast city where fresh, local, sustainable and reasonably priced dining is the norm, when visiting Baltimore's fine dining establishments, I usually have to prepare myself for decent, but ultra high priced, overly indulgent fare. Ouzo Bay was a wonderful surprise! Yes, it is still very expensive, but worth every penny. At first, our table of four was seated in the lounge, where the scene was fun but LOUD. We asked to be moved and the staff was very accommodating. We were given the choice of two tables and chose to sit up front by the window at a smaller round table. Service was excellent, with just the right amount of attention. The food was authentic, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The Greek salad was amazing with larger chunks of ingredients and no lettuce. Our table ordered sea bass, scallops, crab and Avgolemono soup. All were delicious, accompanied with plenty of ooohs and ahhhs. The cocktails were tasty, as were the deserts. The check arrives with complementary shots of ouzo. Based on the food quality, professional staff and fun environment, I highly recommend Ouzo Bay.

We walked in on a rainy Saturday night and the staff was super accommodating. We had a great experience from the beginning. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was very authentic and delicious. At one point it began to rain and our table was just on the edge of being outdoors. We weren't getting wet but the waiter brought an extra round of Ouzo just in case! (which I couldn't drink!)The atmosphere was fun and lively. We would definitely go back!

We ate at Ouzo Bay last night for our anniversary. We got off to a slightly rocky start when they tried to seat us at a tiny table in the lounge(really small). Fortunately when we told the hostess it was not acceptable they switched us to a very nice table in the main area. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and the service was very very good. The grilled calamari appetizer was outstanding. The salads were very flavorful. My wife and I shared two dishes. She had the scallops which were fantastic. The eggplant puree was great with the scallops. My Bronzini was also outstanding. They simply grill the fish. They brought us a few shots of Ouzo and a very nice dessert decorated with the words happy anniversary in chocolate on the plate. All in all a great experience and we would definitely go back!!! Just make sure you arent getting a lounge table!

Ask for a table in the back room for quiet; stay up front for the scene! Reservations are probably mandatory; unlike other reviewers, I had no problems with the reservations and even on a Friday they were right on time.

You know authentic Greek when you order a Greek Salad and it has no lettuce, a detail not lost on Ouzo Bay. They also have a great pastery chef, so leave some room!

We went with a bunch of the appetizers; all very good and they have quite the sampling. You can skip the complementary Ouzo; not the best, but if you want the "real thing" they have a great selection from Greece!

One of the best in Baltimore.
