“Baltimore sports”
Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

This is a very interesting place if you are into sports and don't mind only looking at Maryland sports. Has a good mix of professional and amateur sports and a lot of college stuff. Ends at gift store(which you can get into without tour) which has a nice selection of stuff. I really liked it but if you are expecting non-Maryland sports you will be disappointed.

“Repository for all sports things baltimore”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

The upstairs area is devoted entirely to the Orioles from beginning to current day. There are several team rings and a World Series trophy. Older kids will enjoy but this is more of a museum for adults who remember these players. Down stairs there is a small section dedicated to the Negro League teams from Maryland. The rest for some of the minor league teams and some college etc things. At the end of the tour is the collection of Baltimore Colts memorabilia. What I found interesting was a small display of how baseballs and bats are made. Well appointed gift shop.

“interesting and well laid out presentation”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

the tour for the dedicated sports fan will take over an hour - there is a lot to read and see - there is a lower area that should be of interest to the younger person. Reasonable admission fee..

“Must see if you're a sports fan!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Loved this museum! If you are a fan of sports, you have to see this place! We didn't spend a lot of time inside, about 40 minutes, because we were killing time before going on the Oriole Park tour. I would have loved to have another hour in there. Lots of space dedicated to Orioles and Ravens players, Maryland College Sports, MD Minor League baseball, and MD born athletes who made it big (Babe Ruth anyone?)! It had relevant items to look at and admire. Tasteful and pleasant display, well thought out flow, fun stuff for kids...Must see for sports fans and very budget friendly! Well worth the $8!

“Not just a Baseball Museum”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

This small museum is a compilation of Maryland sports. The upstairs area is filled with Orioles memorabilia and some videos. The downstairs area contains Colts and Johnny Unitas artifacts as well as soccer and pictures of local teams including the current Maryland Baseball State Champions in each classification and summaries of their season. This is a place for the diehard sports fans. Not everyone will find it entertaining. An hour's time will be sufficient for the tour.
