“Wonderful collection for sports fans”

This museum is not only well maintained with plentiful, well designed exhibits it also has a wonderful staff ready to help and answer questions. Our boys, 6 and 8, love it so much we've visited several times and finally purchased a membership. Every time they go they learn more interesting facts about Maryland's sports history. A hidden gem downtown.

“Great for locals and sports history buffs alike”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Went here in the middle of the week while visiting (I'm originally from columbia, Md.) with my husband from Minnesota and sports fanatic 9 year old son and semi-interested 6 year old son. I was very impressed with the depth and breadth of displays and appeal to all of us. There was a wide range of old memorabilia, video and interactive display. I could have spent much more time reliving the Oriole Magic years of my youth. It brought back great memories and paid homage to those stars who have shaped Baltimore and Maryland sports alike.

“A Great Charm in Charm City”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

Sports Legends Museum is one of those things locals will pass a million times and never go in. We finally went with out of town family and its an interactive museum that covers many if not all of the facets of sports from the little league to pro levels. I enjoyed the way it just touched on everything and you can sit behind the microphone or try on a Navy Football uniform (they do have both kids and adult sizes for uniforms). Bring a camera for that kind of fun stuff. This is a two hour trip max but you're a short walk to Inner Harbor, the price of admission plus a few bucks gets you into the Babe Ruth Birthplace a short walk away or if you time it right you can catch an Os game literally right next store.
