Went here after the Druid Park Sprint Triathlon with my sister-in-law. Loved the fresh-squeezed mimosa & really enjoyed the sweet potato pancakes! YUM! The decor is very "nautical" and old-fashioned, the crowd was loud & happy, the location in Canton was very lovely on the Sunday I visited. Great brunch/lunch options.

We noticed the place walking by and looking at the.menu. Well that was it....
Came back the next night. Had a wonderful meal. And great time. Perfect atmosphere. Great service!

Old school bartenders drink along with the crowd. The drinks get really good as the night goes on.

Pirate Juice! You have to try it. The pub is on historical O'Donnell Square. It looks like an old time pub. The service is great and the food was very good. We had the corn and crab fritters and they were delicious! Also had the crab dip which was as very good. The cream of crab was outstanding. My friend ordered the seared tuna appetizer and we didn't really care for it. there was no seasoning and the tuna was so-so. The only draw back we had was that we were asked to move upstairs after being there for an hour because a bigger party was coming in. It felt like we were getting kicked out. As we were in the bar, it seemed rude and killed our great mood. I will be going back again with hopefully better timing. One thing to warn you about: the table seating in the bar is not the most comfortable.

Plug Ugly's is open in the space of the old Helen's Garden. The renovation makes it look nothing like Helen's it looks like an old fashioned bar. The bar is an antique and is just gorgeous.
They are going to update their menu soon from the one they opened with.
We got the popcorn shrimp but upon the bartenders suggestion got it buffalo style which was really good.
I had the tuna sandwich with avocado salsa which was delicious.
We sat at the bar, the bartender was knowledgeable and engaging and made our visit even better.
It was a little pricy but most places on Canton Square are.
Looking forward to going again.
