Lovely little park with sweeping water views and benches to sit. Right near Museum of Visionary Art and Rusty Scupper so you can accomplish a lot in a very short distance.

You won't regret the huffing and puffing when you get to the top and see the amazing view of the harbor and all its glory. If you have kids, the bonus is at the top there is a playground!

Was a cold day so we did a walk through but I will go back and spend some time up on the hill with the kids maybe take a lunch and enjoy all the views.

One only has to go there once to appreciate what this spot offers. It sits high above the Inner Harbor in Baltimore giving you a view of the harbor, promenade, pavilions, various boats and yachts, the Science Center and the Aquarium. Whatever time you visit will give you a different feel. The mornings and afternoon on the weekend are usually filled with tourists and locals walking their dogs. The evening are more quiet. I prefer the evenings as the city is lit up like a Christmas tree laid flat. There is a children's playground inside and various shows on Fridays and Saturdays in the summer.

Any bad side to it? Be careful after dark. Don't park in front of the houses next to the park unless you *know* there's no stadium event occurring as they ticket your car very quickly. (There are signs describing when parking is allowed but I can never decipher them.) Actually, the meter maids are very aggressive in their ticketing so don't scrimp on a dollar only to get a $35 fine.

I tend to park by the visionary arts museum or further down on Key Highway (you can still find some free parking further on) and take a nice stroll to the park. Make sure to try approaching it from the side stairs facing the water and wander past the old stately homes next to the park. There's plenty to explore next to the park.

Really great view of Baltimore's inner harbor and the city. It's not that far from the center so we just walked there, really nice walk! Park itself isn't that special but the view makes it worth it!
