“Enjoying a Latte with a view!”

Pricey but what a nice view of Baltimore Harbor! Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and very tasty bakery: everything cookie and blueberry ginger muffin.

“Expensive, but an experience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

This is probably the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever had outside of a major world city (NY, LA, etc.). If you're not careful, some of the fancier drinks at this restaurant can easily reach $9-10 with tax. That said, this coffee shop is part of the new Four Seasons hotel on the newly redeveloped Baltimore waterfront, and the combination of worldly hotel sophistication and beautiful harbor views just may be worth it. All baked goods are made by the Four Seasons kitchen, and I would highly recommend the Everything Cookies, the Cookie Creme Sandwiches, and the various muffins.

For me the biggest drawback for this coffee shop is that the comfortable coffee house environment is destroyed by its adjoining Four Seasons restaurant, Wit & Wisdom. I've never been to the restaurant itself, but there is an overpowering hickory wood fire smell that permeates the entire coffee shop. This smell may be enjoyable when you're enjoying a finely cut chop in the restaurant but it pretty much destroys one's sense of smell around the far more delicate flavors of a high-end coffee shop.

“Overpriced, quality lacking”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Coffee is overpriced but tasty. Since food options outside of sit down in Harbor East are slim I have had times when I ordered a sandwich . I have had bad experiences with food. One time my microwaved breakfast sausage sandwich was raw and ice cold. Another time my chicken noodle soup was lukewarm and carrots and celery were crunchy as if they were just thrown in. This cafe seriously needs a menu overhaul. I know it is a coffeehouse, but why do it if you can't do it well?

“Hot coffee and tasty food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2013

Had a quick bite to eat before we left Four Seasons. The coffee was very hot, but very good.
I had a bacon maple scone that was OK. Hubby had a mini quiche that was really good. Service was quick, but they seemed a little overwhelmed even though it was not busy. We ate at the tables and looked out at the Inner Harbor. As we left via the interior exit into the hotel, I saw comfy couches and more inviting chairs. It would have been more intimate to sit there.

“Great food and fast service!”

Great place to get a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. The cupcakes are the best! The cheese panini was also outstanding. Friendly and helpful staff. Large tables and comfortable furniture and wifi is available.
