“Great time for the Family”

There is so much to see and do at the Inner Harbor. There are so many attractions you will never see them all in a day. Be prepared to spend money, it is a tourist trap after all, but a fun one. I highly recommend the Aquarium (pricey but nice), the art museum, and the tall ships. Avoid on a Saterday if possible as this place gets packed with visitors. Also avoid bitter cold days and hot days as there is a lot of walking to do if you want to see everything.

Highly recommend a trip to the top of Federal Hill, the view of the harbor is nice and it gives you a good spot to sit and relax.

“Safe Harbor”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

I love Inner Harbor. It is one of my favorite places on earth. During our January visit, we found it to be uncrowded, clean, easy to navigate, and well patrolled - we only had two beggars approach!

“Always a good time”

We took the jet boat ride at the Inner Harbor. It was different. I would never pay full price to do that, but it was interesting. The rest of the Inner Harbor is good for shopping and eating.

“Lovely, but over developed”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

I really love the inner harbor. The sights, the sounds, the tourists. William Donald Shaffer really understood what it would take to transform a run down part of Baltimore into a world class torist destination. The Nation Aquarium is truly the star in a constellation of harbor. The location (in down town, close to the convention center, little italy, the first mariner arena, camden yards, raven stadium, and the federal hill restaurant district) make it a perfect jump off point for all your tourist needs. My only complaint is that parts of the harbor (south of the tourist area) are now ringed by high rises.

In all, it's a great place.
