Description: Classic Casual Dining: Phillips' new Baltimore location is an exciting and easy blend of vintage and modern, with a nod to the longstanding tradition of Phillips restaurants. Phillips at the Power Plant sits directly on the water, just a few steps away from the old Light Street Pavilion location, in the iconic renovated Power Plant industrial building. The innovative redesign of the interior by Carl Myers and Marcie DeLaRosa shows off gleaming, rich woods and jewel toned stained glass fixtures, distressed finishes and antiqued mirrors juxtaposed with a modern, open kitchen.

“Amazing Happy Hour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

$4 drink and snack deals, fantastic jazz duo, and great views of the Harbor. What more to say? We'll be back. A fantastic Baltimore treat. (Buy the Phillips seasoning as a souvenir, you'll use it all the time!)

“Great atmosphere, good food but pricey!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

We enjoyed the piano music during our New Year's dinner. Proximity to Baltimore Inner harbor for the fireworks display was great. We felt the food was pretty good but also we felt it was overpriced!

“Great service--OK food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

We met friends for an extended lunch and were extended every courtesy by the extremely friendly restaurant staff. Soups were excellent, and there is a good selection of them. Various crab meals were so-so, some overdone and dry. Fish meals better. Coffee excellent. Homemade Key Lime pie was melt-in-your-mouth spectacular.

“202 and falling!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014 via mobile

Nice location and bar area. Overpriced and nothing really special. No manager interested in guest. Did have a nice waitress(Stephanie)other than that a $45 flop. I used to eat Phillips innAtlanta airport and they had a nice Blackened Tuna but not available on the dinner menu. I guess I should expect a hose job at the inner harbor tourist Mecca location.

PhillipsSeafood, Guest Relations Manager at Phillips Seafood, responded to this review, January 16, 2014
Good Afternoon:

I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations on your visit to our Inner Harbor restaurant. We work hard with a variety of suppliers, including many local vendors, to bring our guests a great value and memorable experience.

Thank you for letting us know that Stephanie provided great service for you!

I have passed your concerns on to our team and we will take a close look at our dinner menu offerings and consider adding a Blackened Tuna to the menu.

Please reach out to me at smc@phillipsseafood.com so we can make it up to you.

“Good Food and Atmosphere; Inflated Prices”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

Both the food and the atmosphere at Phillip's Seafood in Baltimore's Inner Harbor are very good. However, Phillips is obviously trading on its historic name by charging prices that are far above those of comparable restaurants in the same area.
