Wine was wonderful. A recommendation from the owner.
Lamb Chops - Cooked to perfection and so tasty with delicious sides.
Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cake - a fine finish with coffee.
Port to top off the night.
Try it. You will LOVE it!!

“Charm in charm city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2013

Ate here twice, while at a conference. Located in a charming neighborhood of little old row houses, this plant is just the size of its neighbors. Ate late both nights. While I imagine this might be a romantic spot at most times, toward closing time, sitting at the bar, with few around, the tender/owner makes for a convivial host. Loves sports, particularly basketball.

As for the food, the scampi were swimming in butter, but, yes, tasty. The fish of the day came in a Cajun barbecue sauce of sorts, which was good. Sides were OK. Corn chowder was OK. Didn't try a ciabatta sandwich, which constitutes a lot of the menu. The wine list, for what is ostensibly a wine bar, is not extensive, but what is there is well chosen and reasonable. While, quite frankly, this is not the gustatory experience of a lifetime, it is very reasonable, and I felt good leaving both nights.

“a disappointment second time”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

Pleasantly surprised a year ago at the food. This second visit found corn chowder with no equal. But avoid the steak- they should never put it back on the menu. Cajun fish was good however.

“Perfect for Romantic Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

Went to this hidden gem based on the TA rating and couldn't have been happier. It's called a "Bistro & Wine Bar" so I wasn't expecting it to be the size of a standard or typical restaurant. It's a small intimate Bistro with great food, wine, and excellent service.

“Monday dinner”

Very good crab cakes and the caesar dressing was excellent. Friendly waiter on a very quiet January night.
