History and Culture make this a must-see for visitors to my hometown of Baltimore. Wonderful events like the Flower Mart and the Walters Art Museum, always featuring great art exhibits. The array of restaurants is staggering.

It was fun just to walk around and take in another part of Baltimore that isn't so touristy. My boyfriend found an accordion in a music store for VERY cheap, and it was nice just to walk around and pop into shops here and there.

I have now lived and worked here for over six years. It's the pulsing heart of Baltimore's music life and you have a stream of restaurants to chose from on Charles Street that cater to every taste from Thai, Indian, Afghani, Italien, sports bar, sushi, Irish pub. Best hidden gem: An Die Musik (409 North Charles St.) jazz, avant, world, or classical most nights of the week. Can't miss intimate concert venue with the most comfortable chairs ever. Like getting world-class players to come into your living room.

I used to live here and loved walking to work and stores. You may love the different archetecture and buildings. A bit of a quirky neighborhood, but most people live in harmony. I still have friends who live their. The area is still fun and full of all sorts of people.
