Since we moved to Baltimore, we regularly go to Trinacria to buy fresh olive bread, home made sausages, inexpensive and good wines, cheese as well as many other products. I am always amazed how many products they can display in such a small place. We have become "regulars" and always receive a warm welcome. This family business is just a gems!

Trinacria is such a gem, tucked into a sad-looking block on the long-derelict West Side of town. Once you get past the modest exterior you will be swept up with the amazing scents of Italy. In addition to their huge, made-to-order sandwiches, I love stocking up on groceries here. Their five-pound bags of frozen ravioli are terrific to have on hand. I'm also a big fan of the $.99 bags of Anna brand pasta, their homemade sauces, delicious fresh-baked bread and their cheap wine too. It's best to go during the week as they get very crowded on Saturdays, but the lunchtime rush can be busy here as well. Trinacria is truly an experience for any fans of Italian cooking in Baltimore!

If you are a "foodie" and love good, quality, authentic Italian products, there is no better place in the greater Baltimore area than Trinacria! Get there early if you can as it gets crowded quickly. Love the cold cuts, olives, and other deli delights. They have a wonderful wine selection as well as canned tomatoes and dried pastas.

The subs and sandwiches that you can purchase from Trinacria's deli counter are so delicious! I ordered the cold cut sandwich with everything on it, and although it was the smallest sandwich on the menu (and only $3.50!), it was certainly filling enough for one person. My wife ordered the Turkey Panini, and it was twice as large as my sandwich! One of the best ingredients on her sandwich was the mozzarella. Oh my goodness it was fantastic!

The only drawback to this place is the location. Not the safest place in the world.... But you could say it has tons of character!!!

old time market with a deli counter for carryout subs. People make a special trip here, a lot of university hospital/va business for lunch. nowhere to sit except a stoop on the street nearby. But the one sub can feed two with good italian coldcuts! Ciao!
