Family of four stayed for 2 nights. Room was on the 28th floor with nice view of the harbor. Spacious, comfortable and clean. Had the two double beds to accomodate the kids. Large bathroom with a great shower.

Parking was $24 dollars per day and the garage was attached to the hotel by a walkway. Takes a bit of time to negotiate the route so try not to leave much in your car.

Great location between Inner Harbor and Fell's Point. Walking distance to the National Aquarium, Hard Rock and Phillip's Seafod. Wonderful breakfast and on Sunday; brunch buffet! Walked Camden Yards for an Oriole's game. Walked to Fell's Point for Maryland Blue Crab dinner.

My wife and I again visited Baltimore and stayed at our favorite Hotel, The Waterfront. The staff is outstanding(especially Frank the bell man) and very informative. All of our requests were granted and the corner room was great even though it is starting to show a little wear. The view is fantastic, the food is great you can't ask for more.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a conference so didn't have a choice in hotels. That said, we were pleased with our stay here. The rooms are standard Marriott, but many rooms have a beautiful waterfront view, and the 31st floor concierge club lounge (closed Friday noon - Sunday 5 pm) served both hot and cold breakfast items, omelettes made to order, fruit and snacks throughout the day, and decent hot appetizers and dessert in the evening. The lounge also has 2 computers for printing boarding passes and web surfing. Rooms have a safe and refrigerator in the flat-screen TV cabinet. Bathrooms are small but there is a make-up mirror on a stand.

The area around the hotel has some nice restaurants such as Fleming's and Roy's, and within a few blocks along the waterfront are Panera Bread, Hard Rock, and Houlihan's. There's a Barnes & Noble bookstore here, as well. For shopping, there are a few chains - Anthropologie, J Crew, White House/Black Market - and some local boutiques staffed with friendly employees. The harbor has "dragon boats" you can rent to paddle about, and there is a harbor cruise company (Spirit Cruises) that offers evening excursions.

Given our good experience, we would stay here again if in the Baltimore area.

Room Tip: Ask for a harbor view - many rooms have them!

The Baltimore Marriott is in a great location, and close to many popular Baltimore attractions.
The hotel is modern, with good size rooms, and most up to date services. For the baseball fan you are at the foot of Camden Yards, and some rooms overlook the ball park. During our stay we took a day trip to Washington, and there is commuter rail service just a few blocks away (note: this service is weekdays only).

My one pep peeve (other than having to pay for wi-fi) was the service. We arrived for a relatives wedding and would be staying for 3 nights. After a day of traveling we arrived, only to find out that the room type we reserved and paid for, was not available at check-in (4:00 p.m.), and the staff seemed to not understand why we wanted some clue as to when the room would be ready. We wound up downgrading to what was available, but for that same room type, we could have stayed elsewhere.

Baltimore, like many cities, has seen it's economy change to a more service based one, and as such they could use some schooling in the ins and outs of the hospitality industry.

Ken

Room Tip: Call ahead to see if the hotel is running behind schedule for check-ins.

We came down from Philadelphia to see the Phillies play the Orioles. The hotel is amazing! Clean, GREAT breakfast buffet, perfect location - we were able to walk to anything we wanted (Starbucks a block away). Our room was spacious even with 2 beds, spectacular view of the harbor and extremely quiet. There were a ton of people staying there but you never had to wait for anything from check in to getting a cab.
