“Great place with great food”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

Since I moved to Baltimore this place became very quickly my favourite spot! I love their raw bar including the selection of fresh oysters. The service is attentive and pleasant. Great spot for lunch!

“Best seafood and lively atmosphere”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed in the seafood. Their oysters are fantastic and varied. Love the crab soup, the lobster roll and the starters and veggies are super! Great lively atmosphere and great servers. Bartender is wonderful! I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. Don't ever change!!

“Great seafood”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

In Baltimore, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to great seafood but Thames St Oyster House is particularly nice. Great seafood, good drinks, stellar oysters, and a few different seating options depending on the kind of night you want to have -- bar seating, a more formal dining room upstairs, AND patio seating in a mostly private courtyard (so you're not exposed to all of Fells whilst dining which is sometimes rowdy). I've taken all my visiting family and friends here and everyone loves it. Only downside is slightly higher prices than other local establishments but definitely worth it.

“Return Visit Even Better Than the First”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Thames Street Oyster House has jumped to being one of our favorite local restaurants. It's always a challenge when a group of seven, including the seven and five-year old grandchildren, descend on an establishment for a celebration dinner. Thames Street handles it so well, and provides atmosphere, service and food that have you wanting to return before you even get out of their door. Last evening was yet another birthday with the whole family, and we loved every minute of our time there. Their wide selection of perfect raw oysters, those great Oysters Rockefeller, and their New England Clam and Lobster Boil (made up for groups - order in advance) kept us all busy and not a single person wanting. Candace and her staff joined us with desserts and to wish our daughter a Happy Birthday - such a nice touch.

The staff is informed, gracious and attentive and they make us feel right at home with them. If you happen to find yourself in Baltimore and wanting a great seafood experience, please make your way to Fells Point and the Thames Street Oyster House. You will be glad that you did.

“Excellent lobster roll”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

Food and service were perfect. We had the lobster roll (hot, no filling, all meat) and the oyster po'boy. Plus my husband had some oysters and nj clams. We ordered just before the kitchen closed at 2:30 pm (you can still get oysters just no hot food when the kitchen prepares for dinner). The good reviews for this place are well deserved. The lobster roll is expensive ($23) but exceptional.
