Description: “Pizzas that have the perfect crust, the ideal char, the bubbles, and the good ingredients to compete with the BEST IN THE U.S.” --John Mariani of Esquire Magazine The experienced restaurateurs behind Baltimore’s most celebrated Italian restaurant, the Vitale family of Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano, paired up with Oscar-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri to serve up homemade Italian-American classics like Veal Parmigiana, a famous Signature Veal Meatball, and specialties like hand-formed burrata mozzarella... all served alongside award-winning Bronx-style pizza, baked in a custom coal-fired oven that reaches up to 1,000 degrees. Everything is made fresh, in-house, daily: homemade fresh pasta, pizza, desserts… even fruit juice used to make handcrafted cocktails is fresh-squeezed twice daily. Featuring foods inspired by the Italian-American “neighborhood.” Guests can also enjoy wines from Southern Italy and vineyards beyond, homemade limoncello and craft beers on-tap.

I've dined at Chazz countless times and the experience is always positive. Sergio Vitale and his staff are top-notch and provide attentive service and wonderful food in a beautiful setting, Having lived in the Bronx for several years and being familiar with the ambience of Arthur Avenue, I can say that Chazz recreates a homey yet elegant setting reminiscent of New York's Little Italy. Don't miss the potato pizza with creamy slices of Yukon potatoes that are meltingly tender or the oustanding roasted beet salad with pecans, crusted goat cheese, impeccably fresh greens, and a salad dressing that is light, creamy, and delicious, The risotto balls are ethereally tender and the roasted red peppers are incredibly flavorful. The best item on the menu is the bruschetta, drizzled with a bit of orange blossom honey that truly makes the tomatoes sing. I've had bruschetta all over the world and the Chazz version is the best I've tried. The cocktails are outstanding. The al fresco, with fresh strawberries and basil, and the limonata made with a splash of Hum liquer, are refreshing and inventive. Make sure to leave room for some nutella pizza for dessert. Happy hour at the bar is always fun, with lots of food specials and bartenders who know how to take care of their customers. Great food, great cocktails, a thougthful staff--everything needed for a wonderful experience.

Our kids took us here for dinner.
It was fantastic. Appetizers - calamari, rice balls, meat balls all great! Entrees shrimp fra Diavolo and veal bolognese were out of sight-and pizza was excellent

Took the family. Good for kids. Clean and nice atmosphere. Service was fine. Pizza was very good. For some reason the kids wanted pasta. Spaghetti with meat sauce was terrible.

Went to Chazz for lunch with a party of 4 over the 4th of July weekend. We had dined there for dinner over a year ago and decided to go back specifically to try their Pat Lafrieda burger. We were told they were out of burgers due to their popularity. Then a pork panini was ordered and we were told their were out of pork. Surely a restaurant such as Chazz should be better prepared. Seems to me Chazz is content being a pizza place. It seemed as though everyone there was dining on pizza. We won't return.

i had really been wanting to go here so we had a family outing one night for dinner. it was packed but we easily got our table. i was expecting it to be more romantic and quiet but it was very energetic & casual. our server was a disaster. it took forever to get drinks and food. all the wine vintages we ordered were wrong. a cheese plate had the wrong cheeses and when we told her she just took it back with no explanation or apology. she did come back with another plate but why not have just made it right the first time? a few members in my party ordered their dishes extra spicy and they were given to the wrong people at the table. when we needed something it took forever to get her attention or even find her. so it was awful to have such bad service and if the food wasn't so great i wouldn't be going back. BUT, pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful. the pizza was excellent. there were a lot of great choices on the menu so i would give it another go. sometimes you can't let one bad experience cloud your opinion!
