“Such a Find”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Koco's is what used to be available all over: a decent, corner pub with a killer kitchen that puts out three, or four, or five masterpieces of real homemade food. It is a pub, and drinking is one of its reasons, so volume can be high in a spirited voice, but don't let it take you away from the biggest, baddest, best crabcake platter on Thursday night. The crab soup is another winner.

“Move over G&M”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Kocos has one of the best crab cakes in Maryland. All lump back fin crab meat, just enough filler to hold the crab cake together. The seasoning was perfect.

Reviewed December 20, 2012

If you live in the Northeast corridor of Baltimore and have nothing to do on Thursday night go to Koco's Pub for their Crabcake special. They are sooo Big and if you are truly hungry you will be able eat it all. My cousin told me about it and she was right, It was the best crabcakes that I have ever tasted.

“dependable food and drinks”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Koko's Pub is a nice local restaurant/bar. It is a place where a woman can go alone and feel comfortable any time of day or evening. Lots of families and people from the neighborhood come regularly so it is a comfortable place to stop for a quick bite or a drink.
No question that the best item on the menue is the crab cake (kind of pricey) and then probably the Koko burger - hamburger, ham, bacon and cheese, how can you go wrong? Other dishes are not so inspired, the fish and chips is sometimes good and sometimes tastes like cafeteria fish sticks but it is a nice friendly place, clean well lighted and good service.

“Best crabcake I have ever had, including my own!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Born and raised in Bmore. Eaten pleanty of crabcakes in my lifetime. Koco's crabcake is by far my favorite. They are huge and filled with jumbo lumps of crabmeat. Love the coleslaw and the fries too. I learned thatThursday's are the best day to go but I wont say why. You will have to go see for yourself. Love the owner, the food, but not the prices.
