Ambi was our tour guide for this tour. The four of us had an excellent time. Ambi was very knowledgeable about the sites, history, and restaurants we visited during this particular tour. She was also very personable with a sense of humor. All the food was very good and plentiful. We even got to see a bocci ball game a few of the locals were playing in Little Italy. We all enjoyed the afternoon. We would definitely do this again!

We had a great time. Our tour guide, Molly, was knowledgeable about the area. My favorite was the corned beef! The amount of food at each location was extremely generous. Loved this tour!

Small group walking food tour of the Federal Hill neighborhood with plenty of history, sightseeing, and fun thrown in. Four great spots to eat specialties at each while learning lots of interesting info about the town you grew up in or are just visiting. Nora our guide was very congenial, humorous, and informative. Makes a great gift. We received a gift certificate from family to try this for the first time. Expect to do other tours on our own and have already purchased our first gift certificate for others. My husband & I were one of five people on this tour. We've been on many food tours in NYC, however, this was our first in Baltimore. We're both very familiar with Baltimore, but had never done a food tour there. Go hungry. There is A LOT of food to try. Our experience has always been that you get a few tastes at each establishment. Typically, you're not even seated for the tastings. However, on this tour, we sat down at each restaurant and had full servings. Our first stop was Attman's Deli. We had the corned beef sandwich (their corned beef is the absolute best!), fish cakes, Knishes & pickles. Attman's is located in "Jonestown", which is basically in the same neighborhood as Little Italy. From there, we walked to Cafe Gia's. There, we were served a huge platter of antipasta & a huge bowl of gazpacho. Chiapparellia's was next. We were seated at this restaurant, too. Wine was included, you had a choice of red or white. Three loaves of bread arrived, along with their "famous" salad (it is to die for!) and a giant meatball. We love this restaurant, probably one of our favorites in the city. From there, we walked a few blocks to our final destination, Piedigrotta, an italian bakery. Pasta & tiramisu were served, along with a choice of coffee, cappacino or espresso. My husband & I both got the pasta to go; there was just no way to eat another bite! The tiramisu was extremely good. We're used to going to Vacarro's, but we would try this establishment again. While there was a bit of history during the tour, I would have liked to have heard/learned more. Also, it was nice to sit & relax at each restaurant, but I wish our tour guide would have told us specifics about each establishment. One of the highlights was at Gia's Cafe....Gia & her mother own the restaurant, and her mother stopped by our table & told us her story of coming to the US from Sicily. She was a charming woman & it was nice to hear about her background. Overall, this was a pretty solid tour.
