Description: When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters, you've got to do it justice. We kept our building's most stunning architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches, like chairs and table lamps from original B&O dining cars. Our practices are distinctly 21st century, though, from selecting the best local produce at the farmer's market to serving cutting-edge craft cocktails to maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices. If only train passengers from the early 1900s had it so good!

Came her for dinner on a Saturday. Right away noticed a prostitute at the bar with her pimp waiting for customers. Ordered drinks and food. The server did not know much about the drinks they had or the one page menu. Ordered lamb and bacon wrapped pork. The lamb was very good but the pork was overcooked, but not too bad. The wait for the food took a very long time, but at least we had the prostitute to entertain us while she chated with her pimp about the lack of customers. $120 later we where out of there. We returned for breakfast the next day since there is no where else to go if you staying at the hotel. It seemed like the waiter that served us was just hired from the bus stop down the street. We ordered one thing but brought out the complete opposite. Told him it was wrong, after 5 min he brought it back to us, explained to him that it was not what we ordered. Eventually he brought the right stuff. It took forever to get our food, we wasted about an hour and a half waitting. Tip: fire the person who is hiring these servers, then fire all the servers. and start fresh. Do not come to this place for breakfast.

Food was great, but service was a bit slow. Our waiter didn't bother refilling our water or beverages.

I went to B&O Brasserie with my wife and some friends to celebrate a birthday. It's attached to the Hotel Monaco in downtown Baltimore. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and definitley conducive to a romantic dinner. It's definitely a place for a more intimate style gathering versus one for big groups. The service was good, but I found the food to be lacking. The menu options vary with chef selections and seasonal options as many eateries of this caliber tend to do. I just found the execution to miss the mark a bit. The only meal that recieved rave reviews was the lamb shank that a friend of mine ordered. i was told the meat was very tender and well seasoned. I did not care for my rockfish, and my wife did not love her chicken dish. All in all I would return but more than likely would opt for small plates and drinks over a full meal.

Stayed at the adjacent hotel and went there for late drinks. Very friendly staff, however they close relatively early for a hotel bar...hit last call 3 nights in a row and only had 1 drink each time.
