Ate outside AFTER the folks all left for the "O"s ballgame. Really pleasant and good barfood. We had crabcake sandwich and it was really good. Would go back

Was at a convention in Baltimore recently, and my group decided to hit up this place on a whim, being directly across from the convention center. We were pleasantly surprised to find a brew pub so nearby, and a good one to boot. The beer was great, the food was surprisingly good, and the servers were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked it so much, we came back the next night too.

I've walked by Pratt Street Ale House many times on the way to/from Orioles games but stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday while at a convention across the street. The service was great as the restaurant was busy handling the convention crowd and the growing number of guests stopping in before the game. Our server was attentive, yet was patient with us while we considered the menu and pointed out the happy hour specials for us. I got the crab pizza and it was exactly what you would want it to be! My wife had the boneless wings and we shared the nachos which were generously portioned and better than your typical bar fare. It was a great visit and we will be returning the next time we are in the area.

The Pratt Street Ale House is a nice bar location close to the sports complexes and very close to the convention center, and isn't a bad place to duck into for a drink and a bite to eat. I didn't expect a whole lot from the food or the beer for that matter, but both were quite surprising. The food is quite good for the price, I had the shrimp and salmon and it was marinated very well. The wait staff was very cool and down to earth, never trying to put on airs.

The real high point is the beer, however. I'm admittedly a very picky beer drinker, only liking certain kinds of beer and only certain styles within those kinds. This place was able to cater even to my tastes.

The only con seemed to be that at least one or two of the TVs seemed to have color issues, and the choice of music seemed to be the same 20 songs you'd hear in any given sports bar.

We picked Pratts because of the beer and ale selection. We arrived just as the orioles game was starting, hoping to find room.

The server Rick was super enthusiastic and informative about the beer selection, which was as advertised. The food was quick, good, and the price was fair.
