I visited this location more than one time, from the first time i was attracted & impressed with the renovation the owner did to this old building. I love historic buildings. The lobby with the tall old doors will take you back to the 1800. The room was very clean & bigger than some other hotels downtown Baltimore. The Hotel was a walking distance from the power planet which is very convinient in summer, but in a windy winter like yesterday you have to use a cab or the hotel shuttle. The staff are very friendly & very helpful, they can take you anywhere downtown with their shuttle. Don't miss the breakfast and the happy Hours.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a higher floor, the view is definitely better.

I recently stayed two days and nights at the Holiday Inn Express (Inner Harbor) Downtown Baltimore and my experience was wonderful..... The ease of booking reservationsa was short and to the point. The rates are similiar and equal to what one would expect from a major hotel chain in a major city's main tourist attraction area, but the Holiday Inn rates were not out of this world simply it is located in the downtown area of the city. The style of the building and the design of the rooms gives one a comfortable feeling. The staff is very polite and professional and I owuld recommend this hotel to family and friends.

You are welcomed at this location by the homeless begging for money before you get to the building. No security. A juvenile correctional building is close by, so you can visit your kids in jail, or someone else's kids. There is a 12.00 parking fee which they tell me was listed, but I did not see it prior to booking. There is no working internet on the upper level of the hotel. Actually there is, if you are willing to stand in the hallway, or directly by your room door. It's ok for one night alone. Staying with family? Pay a few extra dollars and Stay elsewhere. The only positive is the room was clean.

Great staff! At check-in, we were asked if we would be parking a car. Although we were, because we checked in so late, we were only charged parking for one day, not two. (It's the little things!) The hotel offers free shuttles to and from any location within a 1-mile radius so we didn't have to worry about driving and finding somewhere else to park downtown. Even the housekeeper was friendly and engaging! Room was spotless, and when passing her in the hall, she asked how things were and let us know to just ask if we needed anything else.

Downside: The location is 1-block from a police dispatcher, so we heard sirens all through the night.

the room was fine but the hotel is not located in a good area of Balimore, the breakfast was not ready at 7:00 AM as it was promised, also I had my strangest experience in this hotel, the phone rang for no reason 3 times every 15 minutes at 3:30 AM so I could not sleep the first night and I changed my room for second night and I was told that manger will contact me which he never did.
