We had a wonderful stay at the Monaco. The rooms were tasefully decorated in a contemporary style, that complimented the historical style of this building. The bathrooms were spacious. We had a walk in tiled shower with rainfall shower head. The beds were extremely comfortable with plush pillows after spending the day walking around the waterfront. (which was only a three blocks away) We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there again. Kudos to the staff.

Room Tip: We had a corner room (828) which had lots of windows.

I stayed at the Kimpton for four nights on business and felt it was one of Baltimore's gems! I'm not one to stay at "off brand" hotels but when the partner Sheraton was booked up my office manager put me here. It's an historic building that is centered around a n amazing marble stair case! The rooms are huge and nicely decorated. The staff os friendly and very helpful.

The two best things about the hotel is the location and connecting B&O restaurant. It's located a few blocks from the harbor and a few more from Camden Park for you soorts fans. The restaurant has amazing food! The prices are typical hotel restaurant prices but in my opinion worth it. If I ever have to come back to Baltimore then I'll definitely stay here again!

When I travel to Baltimore for work or play, I always stay at the Monaco Baltimore. The hotel has a very grand historic feel, it is the home of the old railroad station and the entry and marble staircase are all original. The decor and the rooms are very hip and modern and comfortable, just like any Kimpton, the decor and design are top notch. The staff and management are there to make sure your stay is nothing but the best. We were catered to as soon as we stepped out of the car. From the free wine hour to the special and numerous treats and surprises that we waiting for us in our room, it actually makes me look forward to my next business trip in the area. If you are traveling on business, this hotel will help to make it feel like a mini vacation. You are in walking distance to the harbor (less than one mile) and many of the restaurants in the area will pick you up for free. We were there for several days and the staff remembered our names and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to see. The B&O restaurant in the hotel is excellent as well with an amazing award winning bartender, do yourself a favor and try one of his original cocktails. Did I mention free wine hour?????

Room Tip: The rooms with the giant tubs are amazing...

I stayed here for a wedding this past weekend and could not have been more pleased! The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered at any hotel. The B&O restaurant was delicious and the bartender took the time to talk to us for a while-we really enjoyed him. The front desk staff was fabulous and just all around sweet people. Definitely staying here next visit!

My husband and I recently chose Hotel Monaco in Baltimore for a quick getaway. The historic building is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are spacious with high ceilings, great bathroom and the most comfortable beds. The entire staff, from our bellhops Leo to everyone at the front desk, were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and delighted us with their warm smiles and "can-do" attitudes.

The room was full of everything we needed, including Leo offering, then getting us a bucket of ice so we could enjoy our Raid the Mini Bar voucher (given as a Kimpton In Touch Members). We also enjoyed the complimentary wine hour and a staff member there helpedm to procure us a dinner reservation at the hotel's Brasserie which was very crowded that evening. The food and service ther were also outstanding.

We have stayed at many Kimpton Hotels, but this one stands out for its beauty
and charm, but mostly for the staff who gave us service with a smile andmade our stay so very enjoyable.
