This museum focuses on amateur artists. It's really a celebration of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. And it's awesome. Where else can you find a matchstick 3-D replica of the Titanic, or robots crafted from 1960s era electronics?
The museum takes itself seriously: exhibits and galleries are are designed as smartly as they are in the Smithsonian or the Guggenheim.
It's quirky, fun and crazy. Go, if you happen to be in Baltimore. Kids love it; it's a great way to get them into museum hopping. You'll fall in love with it. And the cafe is a first rate place for lunch, too.
It's a hidden gem.
