Definitely different and very creative. Eye dazzling inside and out. I want to go back! Exhibits change fairly frequently-and are indoors as well as outside. Even the building has been decorated with mosaic type displays. The gift shop is great as well.

“Nice for something different”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

We visited the AVAM with our 10 y.o. child. We had done the aquarium and ship tours in the Inner Harbor on previous visits, and a friend recommended the AVAM because we had a couple of hours to kill in the Inner Harbor area. We all enjoyed it. It has a good number of quirky sculptures that our son really enjoyed. This is a good place to visit if you're looking to do something a little different and have a couple of hours. The cafe looked cute, but we had already eaten, so I can't rate it.

“Worth the Money.”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

It's a great place to walk through and check out. There's a lot to see, and a lot of variety of things to see. A really pleasant destination on a lazy day off work. No photos, unfortunately, but so it goes.

“Weird, Quirky and Fun!”

This is one of my favorite museums in Baltimore. The exhibits are always unique and they have awesome events. I love the outdoor movies in the summertime and the Kinetic Sculpture Race is tons of fun.

“My Favorite Baltimore Art Museum”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

This is the only art museum where I spend as much time reading the information with the art as I do looking at the art. Every year, a new themed exhibit leads visitors in their own private journeys as they explore. And the museum store, Sideshow, is a fun place to browse!
