“Best of the Best!”
Reviewed February 3, 2011

I almost don't want to write a review for this place because it is so good yet very small.
Small restaurant in a beautiful 1840's era Mt. Vernon townhome. Sustainably sourced food with a French-Mediterranean flare. No detail is overlooked in this place. Staff is on point and love what they do. People are shocked when they realize what they are getting into. They also have garden dining in good weather. Only open for dinner and it's a BYO! So stop off and grab your favorite bottle of wine for your evening.
This is also an 8 room inn so if you are looking to stay in the city and want something truly unique check the web sight but don't be surprised if you find them booked. Get out of the Inner Harbor and travel about 10 blocks up Charles St to Mt. Vernon and find Charm City.

“Excellent”
Reviewed June 9, 2010

This is a truly great spot for lunch or dinner and one of the best kept secrets of the Mount Vernon area. Weather inside or outside the atmosphere is charming, the servers are exceptional and the owner may just stop by to say hi. The food is locally sourced, creative, and delicious. Will accommodate the vegan to the carnivore.
