“Great for People Watching”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

La Tasca has some great small plates for sure but the highlight of this Inner Harbor eatery is it's people watching perch. Snack on some delicious bacon wrapped stuffed dates while sipping Sangria and watching the crowds below you walking around Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Located directly across from the USS Constilation, a Baltimore landmark and a US treasure, La Tasca has plenty of outdoor seating with great views of Federal Hill, the Aquarium, and the Science Center.

Try their many sangria concoctions and don't forget to check Restaurant.com for a discount.

“Brings me back to Salamanca Spain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2012

Paella, paella, paella brings me back here all the time!
But their tapas are truly a gastronomic experience:
Tortilla Española (Spain’s traditional potato/onion omelet)
Espinacas Salteadas (Freshly sautéed spinach w/garlic, pine nuts & raisins)
Espárragos Verdes a la Plancha (Grilled asparagus drizzled w/ olive oil & sea salt)
Chorizos & empanadas (stuffed pastry bites) round it out

“Decent Food & Prices !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

The service could be a little better. The wait staff wasnt as attentive as I felt they could be but all in all my family enjoyed the food and each others company.
I thought the Sangria was pretty good and the Paella was delish :-)

“Disappointing. Save time and Money. Avoid”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

I love tapas restaurants, but this one was the worst experience on so many levels it sucked. Seriously slow service, TINY portions that were overcooked and under seasoned and way OVERPRICED. We were winding up a great getaway and decided to try this over the Cheese cake Factory and it's 45 minute wait. What a mistake. As soon as we entered the restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening, we were greeted by the foul odor of fish on warm air, should have turned and walked out right there. instead we opted for a seat in the outside mall portion of this restaurant, it was a little too chilly for us to sit outside on the deck. Our waitress was doing doubletime as a bartender as no less than 6 busboys stood around the bar talking. They served me an over dressed tasteless mayo based spinach salad, a dried out 1 ounce pieces of salmon over dirty plates and no water refills. we hesitated knowing an A La carte menu can be expensive but figured if it offered good tapas and good service it would have been worth it. It offered neither. We should have waited the 45 minutes for the Cheesecake factory, their service and food is always worth it. This was just a waste of a lot of money and a lot of time. Avoid.

“Great view of the harbour!”

Service was on the slow side; child's chicken tender was over-cooked; Valenciana paella was very tasty
