Owner description: The Baltimore Museum of Industry celebrates the innovators, entrepreneurs and workers who propelled this port city into the industrial age and beyond. From garment making to airplane manufacturing, food canning to video game design, visitors to the museum will discover how Baltimore's pioneering spirit built the region's manufacturing might and continues to shape Maryland today. Located in an 1860s oyster cannery on a five-acre waterfront campus, the BMI offers dynamic exhibitions, live demonstrations, engaging tours and hands-on activities for guests of all ages.

I enjoyed the city because of the transporation available. Of course I did drive too. But I felt safe. Baltimore is an old city with steel milll docks and beer breweys. IF YOU LIKE TO WALK YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

This is a fun museum where you can learn about the industrial revolution and some local history. The exhibits are immersive and engaging and the classes and facilitated activities are very unique! Learn about canning, the garment industry, and printing presses all in one visit. The social offerings for adults are fun and the space itself is fantastic with a wonderful view of the harbor. This is a fun and unique museum to explore and definitely one of my Baltimore favorites!

We just happened to see the sign for this while on the Charm City Circulator free bus while riding around Baltimore. We decided to come back and see it. My husband grew up in Baltimore and it was like a trip down memory lane. It is not to be missed. It's unfortunate that it is off the beaten path and not advertised more becuase it is one of the best museums I have been too. Anything you every wanted to know about Baltimore! I'm not from here, and I really enjoyed learning all about it.

This venue was really cool for a wedding! It was great that you were able to walk around the museum. The theatre area was a great setting with picture taking and a lot of fun. Considering the space with tables, it was a little tight with 10 people at a table. It did get a little warm with so many people.

The only down fall that I was not impressed with after the wedding the venue did not have "Housemen" to tear down tables. Men from the wedding helped tear down tables -- I'm sure this venue is not cheap to rent, invest in people to tear down instead of expecting guests!
