Got a culture-averse guy you want to get out for a day? Try this place -- it's a museum for guys who hate museums. (cars? got em. Tools? got em. Beer? well, got brewery stuff, anyway...) A fun collection of history, told through artifacts and industry. A must-see for anyone who grew up in the area, is interested in history, or loves pop-culture.

This museum has set up a variety of businesses that represent the history of Baltimore industry. There is a reproduction clothing factory, machinist factory, printing office, etc. There were very knowledgeable staff explaining the start and growth of the industry within each section. I learned a lot of new things. Not great for little children but older kids might have more interest. Very well done.

This museum is all about the history of Baltimore's industry. There are hands on exhibits for children and an extremely interesting history of things most people dont hear of otherwise.

Date of visit 9/13/12 Family Night FREE Admission, FREE parking & unlimited FREE popcorn. I took a 2yr old & 8yr. It was better for the 8yr old. Quaint museum with very informative industrial & manufacturing era in Baltimore. I found the Printing Press hands on exhibit fun & exciting. The garment loft demonstration showed how fabric for certain items were cut & sewn. There were various pictures & actual representation of collections that changed through time. For example, the changes from the first invented television & radios. The museum staff were REALLY nice & friendly. The staff were posted throughout the museum for assistance.
