The Baltimore Hilton offered superb conference & meeting facilities and luxurious rooms with almost all of the expected delux appointments (see below). The hotel is located directly across from Camden Yards and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Inner Harbor providing plenty of opportunities to entertain clients. Some minor complaints that I justify making based on the very expensive price $$$$ of the room: 1) free bottled water is only available for the concierge level rooms. Unfortunately I did not have one of those rooms and my room did not have a mini bar where I could pay for bottled water or a soft drink and further the bottled water/soft drinks machine on my floor was out of order for the duration of my stay (6 nights) I would expect that in a hotel of this caliber that one could have (at least) bottled water in all the rooms, or else some working alternative for a price! 2) the Internet access in the room was not free. Even the most basic road side motel offers guests free wi-fi these days! 3) the service at the downstairs bar was slow. The problem seemed to be under staffing for conference events rather than poor service. 4) the restrooms in the conference part of the hotel are located a million miles from the main ballroom / conference room - ok that is an exaggeration -- but they were not conveniently located...More
