Okay... that Crosstown Burger definitely deserves its reputation as the best burger in Baltimore. Everything is just right about it -- the size, the taste, the juiciness, the buns, the toppings, the cheese, the egg, the bacon, the price... it's just a magnificent combination of goodness that just melts in your mouth.

The Boh Battered O's (onion rings) are interesting. Though there's tons of batter and not much O's inside, that batter is delicious. If you're a health freak, you need to let loose just one night.

Hamilton Tavern's food specials are great too. Not sure if I was lucky that day or not, but Friday's special was the beer battered cod... and it was one of the best I've had. The soup special was New England clam chowder. Now... just as a note, this isn't canned soup, nor is it likely something you'd come across too often. This was a mini pond, with real fish, mussels, and clams floating around... aka they don't skimp on the seafood.

Service was excellent. Our server checked up on us regularly and was super friendly. Street parking isn't an issue. Oh and by the way, did I mention that the Crosstown Burger was amazing? Yea... I'll be back.

My girlfriends and I popped in here the other night to get a drink and chat. It was so nice! From the outside we couldn't tell if it was even open, but inside there were cozy warm tables, yummy drinks, and space at the bar. The draft and bottled beer selection is fantastic and includes local favorites from Duckpin and the Brewers Art. Cocktails were simple, strong, and delicious! I enjoyed the Hamilton version of the classic old fashioned. The staff were friendly and the crowd was an eclectic mix of Baltimore's best. We shared some snacks including the pretzel bites and they were the perfect amount for nibbling and sharing. I would definitely go back here and get a table to spend some more time and try the rest of the men!

Great bang for your buck. Stopped in for a light dinner and will certainly be back for a full meal in the near future.

Beer selection isn't huge, but they carry high quality and have something for every taste and every mood.
Watermelon and cherry tomato salad - perhaps the best salad you could ever have on a summer afternoon.
Beef tacos were flippin' great (and I'm a part-Mexican guy from Texas).

Loved the Baltimore hometown atmosphere. Impressive selection of beer and wonderful burgers. Don't take reservations which is inconvenient when you are travelling a distance to eat theres.
