Okay... that Crosstown Burger definitely deserves its reputation as the best burger in Baltimore. Everything is just right about it -- the size, the taste, the juiciness, the buns, the toppings, the cheese, the egg, the bacon, the price... it's just a magnificent combination of goodness that just melts in your mouth.
The Boh Battered O's (onion rings) are interesting. Though there's tons of batter and not much O's inside, that batter is delicious. If you're a health freak, you need to let loose just one night.
Hamilton Tavern's food specials are great too. Not sure if I was lucky that day or not, but Friday's special was the beer battered cod... and it was one of the best I've had. The soup special was New England clam chowder. Now... just as a note, this isn't canned soup, nor is it likely something you'd come across too often. This was a mini pond, with real fish, mussels, and clams floating around... aka they don't skimp on the seafood.
Service was excellent. Our server checked up on us regularly and was super friendly. Street parking isn't an issue. Oh and by the way, did I mention that the Crosstown Burger was amazing? Yea... I'll be back.
